The next day, Karly was sitting on the couch when the door opened and Luke came in with Casey, Ethan, and Kenny. Kevin came out of the kitchen.
“Hey sis!” Casey said.
“Hi sis!” Kenny said.
“Hey sis!” Ethan said. Luke came over and leaned down and kissed her softly.
“Hey baby,” Luke said.
“I missed you,” Karly said.
“I missed you too,” Luke said.
“Guess what Kev has a date Friday!” Karly said.
“He does with who?” Luke asked.
“Dana's cousin,” Karly said.
“Oh really,” Luke said.
“Yeah she has not had good luck with guys so she was nervous but she asked me out,” Kevin said.
“I met her in the bathroom, Dana came with me to the bathroom and while I was in there, Susan came in and Dana told her someone was using the bathroom and Susan said who the fat chick on the lounger,” Karly said.
“What she called you that?” Kevin asked.
“Yes but Dana stood up for me and explained who I was and why I was like this and she apologized to me and she tends to talk before she thinks, she's actually nice, we sat and got to know each other, Kev, don't cancel because of her mistake, I think you are the guy for her, she need someone who won't hurt her,” Karly said.
“Karly, I hurt you,” Kevin said.
“How?” Karly asked.
“When I left for Paris,” Kevin said.
“Yeah but you were following your dream and I wasn't going to stand in the way, I got over it eventually, I didn't hate you or was mad at you, I was sad but happy for you,” Karly said.
“It's been nine years since my last relationship,” Kevin said.
“You mean you haven't had a girlfriend since we broke up?” Karly asked.
“No,” Kevin said.
“Oh god,” Luke said.
“Luke,” Karly said.
“Because your heart belongs to my wife right,” Luke said.
“She will always have a piece of it, but she gave it back when she married you,” Kevin said.
“I hope so,” Luke said.
“Luke remember what I told you,” Kevin said.
“Yes I know that you would never cross that boundary and never would want to be responsible for breaking up a marriage, got it, okay I need to go check on the clubs so I will be back later,” Luke said.
“You just got home!” Karly said.
“I know baby but Greg called on the way home asking me to stop by, Kenny and Ethan are going with me along with Casey and Kevin so you are alone for a bit,” Luke said.
“What why?” Karly asked.
“We will talk when we get back,” Luke said.
“No, we will talk now,” Karly said.
“Karly,” Luke said.
“LUKE PETER STONE!” Karly said.
“Uh oh,” Kenny said.
“Oh boy,” Ethan said.
“Yikes,” Casey said.
“Oh geez,” Kevin said.
“Karly baby calm down,” Luke said.
“I will when you tell me what the heck is going on,” Karly said.
“Kev?” Luke asked.
“It's time,” Kevin said.
“She should get her revenge,” Casey said.
“What revenge?” Karly asked.
“Something happened in college,” Kevin said.
“While Kevin was away,” Luke said.
“My grandma was sick, and you couldn't go with me due to your classes having quizzes,” Kevin said.
“Okay and??” Karly asked. They told her everything that happened.

CHAPTER 186

They sat there watching her stare at the wall with tears running down her cheeks and then she broke down crying.
“Baby?” Luke asked.
“Oh god Luke!” Karly said. She threw herself in his arms.
“Do you remember it?” Luke asked.
“It all came flooding back, oh god!” Karly said.
“Shhh he can't hurt you anyone,” Luke said.
“What,” Karly said.
“I didn't go to my apartment Friday night, I met up with Drew and Sam and found him and took him to the family house and put him in the cells in the basement where he's been all weekend,” Kevin said.
“They are waiting for me to decide on what to do,” Luke said.
“I want to strangle him with my bare hands,” Casey said.
“I'm right there with you on that,” Kevin said.
“Me too,” Ethan said.
“Yep,” Kenny said.
“Everyone wants a part of it so do you want a part of it?” Luke asked.
“I hadn't walked much so yes I want to destroy that bastard,” Karly said. They all head to the house and went downstairs where Rick, Austin, Eric, and Peter were waiting with Drew and Sam. They all walked into the cells. The guys stood in front of Karly.
“Wakey wakey!” Drew said.
“What's going on?” Travis said.
“Welcome to your doom,” Sam said.
“Hello Travis,” Eric said.
“Eric what's going on,” Travis said.
“What's going on is that you are going to pay for what you did,” Eric said.
“What did I do?” Travis said.
“You raped and beat a woman at Harvard and got away with it thanks to your father's money,” Eric said.
“How could you know about that, my father made that file go away,” Travis said.
“So, it is him,” Casey said.
“Who are you?” Travis asked.
“His brother,” Casey said.
“Who are all of you?” Travis asked.
“I'm Eric's brother,” Austin said.
“Father,” Rick said.
“Brother,” Ethan said.
“Brother,” Kenny said.
“Father-in-law,” Peter said.
“Brother-in-law and King of the Stone Family Mafia,” Luke said.
“At the time of the woman's rape at your hands, I was her boyfriend,” Kevin said.
“Was?” Travis asked.
“She's my wife and my queen,” Luke said.
“You got lucky, she blocked out the attack and only just now remembered it and now she wants her revenge,” Kevin said.
“You see, that woman was my sister!” Eric said.
“Mine too,” Austin said.
“My daughter,” Rick said.
“Sister,” Ethan said.
“Sister,” Kenny said.
“Daughter-in-law,” Peter said.
“Twin sister,” Casey said.
“Oh god,” Travis said.
“God can't help you now,” Casey said.
“You messed with the wrong girl,” Luke said.
“You are going to pay,” Austin said.
“Very painfully,” Eric said.
“I wish what was done to her could be done to you, but we aren't that sick,” Kevin said.
“Old fashioned beating?” Rick asked.
“I'm ready Dad,” Ethan said.
“Me too,” Kenny said.
“I'm beyond ready,” Casey said.
“Please I'll do anything!” Travis said.
“Oh, he's begging for it,” Sam said.
“Final decision goes to my queen,” Luke said. They move and she walks towards him. He stares at her.

CHAPTER 187

Karly stood there glaring at the guy who attacked her in college. Luke stood by her.
“Remember me jackass!” Karly said.
“Oh god it's you!” Travis said.
“Who am I!!!!” Karly said.
“I...I...I attacked you,” Travis said.
“Yes, you did, and I want to know out of all the girls on campus, why me!” Karly said.
“I saw you and thought you were beautiful, and I just had to have you, but you fought back,” Travis said.
“Why did I fight back!” Karly said.
“You didn't want it,” Travis said.
“Bingo!” Karly said.
“I'm sorry so sorry,” Travis said. She slapped him across the face with such force that it nearly pushed him over in the chair he was in.
“Sorry is for those who actually mean it, you aren't sorry, if you were sorry, you would have paid for what you did but you had daddy get you out of it!” Karly said.
“I didn't ask him to, it was all him, I swear, I was willing to pay for what I did but he couldn't let the family name be destroyed, after that day, he called me a disgrace and told me that I had to do what he said or I was out of the family and broke,” Travis said.
“Blah blah blah story of my life, if I hadn't blocked it out, you would have destroyed mine!” Karly said.
“And mine,” Kevin said.
“And mine,” Luke said.
“Ours,” Austin said.
“Sis what should we do?” Eric asked.
“Give him a beating, I'm going to sit down for a bit,” Karly said. She went over to the chair and sat down and Peter came and stood beside her with Drew and Sam and they watched as her brothers, her father, her best friend, and her husband beat him up. She smiled as she watched him get all bruised and bloodied.
“Please stop!” Travis said.
“Did you stop when you were beating my sister!” Casey yelled.
“Did you stop when you were raping my daughter!” Rick yelled. Travis groaned.
“Dad,” Kenny said.
“Dad,” Ethan said.
“How much more boys?” Rick asked.
“I'm nowhere near done with him,” Austin said.
“Same here,” Eric said.
“Baby what do you want to happen now?” Luke asked.
“Does he have a girlfriend?” Karly asked.
“Do you have a girl jackass?” Eric asked.
“No,” Travis said.
“Good no one would miss him then,” Karly said.
“Baby?” Luke asked.
“Sis?” Casey asked.
“What,” Karly said.
“I beg you please!” Travis said.
“Why should you live huh, so you can go do what you did to me to someone else!” Karly said.
“There was no one else!” Travis said.
“So, I was your only victim!” Karly said.
“You were only the second before I got caught and my father told me to never do it again,” Travis said.
“So, you attacked another girl before me!” Karly said.
“You are sick!” Casey said.
“I deserve to suffer and pay for what I did but I don't want to die!” Travis said.
“Guys, I personally think he deserves it all,” Eric said.
“Babe?” Karly asked.
“Yes baby?” Luke asked.
“Do what you think is best, I'm done with this, I can't stand the sight of this poor excuse of a human being anymore, I'm going upstairs with Mom and sis,” Karly said.
“Okay baby, go rest,” Luke said.
“I'll go with her,” Peter said. Karly went over and kicked him.
“Go to hell,” Karly said. Peter helped her upstairs and went to the living room where Barbara and Hayley were with Ginger and Greg.
“Oh, my dear,” Barbara said. She got up and hugged her close. Karly cried on her shoulder.
“It's soundproof downstairs right?” Karly asked.
“Yes,” Peter said.
“Sis you okay?” Hayley asked.
“No but I will make it through this,” Karly said.
“We all will help you through this, all of us,” Barbara said. Karly settled on the couch and curled up against the side. Barbara sat next to her and stroked her hair.

CHAPTER 188

Casey came into the living room and sat down.
“Hey bro,” Karly said.
“Hey sis,” Casey said.
“So, what happened?” Karly asked.
“You don't have to keep anything from us, dear,” Barbara said.
“Luke and Kevin want him dead for what he did to you, so do me and our brothers and Dad,” Casey said.
“So, is he?” Karly asked.
“Luke thinks you should do it because of what he did to you,” Casey said.
“Finish him sis,” Hayley said.
“I hate to say it honey, but he deserves it,” Barbara said.
“Get your revenge Karly,” Ginger said. She took a deep breath and nodded and got up and Casey helped her down the stairs and she stood there in front of Travis who was barely conscious. He looked up at her.
“Please don't do this,” Travis said.
“Why should I listen to you when you didn't listen to me when I said no and stop,” Karly said.
“I'm sorry I'll do anything please I just want to live!” Travis said.
“You can't be trusted to keep alive, you can burn in hell!” Karly said. She took Luke's gun and stood back along with everyone and fired, hitting him between the eyes. She handed the gun to Luke and went upstairs. Kevin followed along with Rick, Ethan, Kenny, Casey, Austin, and Eric. She sat down in the chair. Kevin came over and knelt down in front of her.
“Kev,” Karly said.
“He had to pay, K, justice was done,” Kevin said. She nodded and hugged him. She rested her forehead on his shoulder. He rested his chin on hers. Luke came up and saw them. Hayley came over to him.
“Bro?” Hayley asked.
“What?” Luke asked.
“You okay with him holding her?” Hayley asked.
“Yes sis I am, he could have destroyed their relationship in college and if that happened, she wouldn't be my wife today or having my kids, her attack happened in college when they were together, they need that hug,” Luke said.
“You're right, I forgot about that,” Hayley said.
“I trust them, and I know she's mine forever,” Luke said.
“Yep,” Hayley said.
“He's got a date Friday night,” Luke said quietly.
“With who?” Hayley asked quietly.
“Dana's cousin,” Luke said quietly.
“Ohhh,” Hayley said quietly.
“Keep it to yourself, let him talk first if he wants to talk about it,” Luke said quietly.
“Okay I will keep quiet,” Hayley said quietly.
“Now are you ready to be a mom?” Luke asked.
“Getting there,” Hayley said.
“I can't wait to be an uncle,” Luke said.
“I can't wait to be an aunt,” Hayley said. Luke hugged her close.
“Love you sis,” Luke said.
“Love you too bro,” Hayley said. Luke went over and sat down by Karly and she leaned against him. Karly kept ahold of Kevin's hand as he stayed in front of her.

CHAPTER 189

A few days went by. Karly was lying in bed sleeping. Luke sat there watching her. Casey came in and stood there. Luke looked at him.
“Is she okay?” Casey whispered.
“She is fighting with herself inside on whether she did the right thing,” Luke whispered.
“She had to do it, there was no way we could let him live,” Casey whispered. Ethan came in.
“What's up bro?” Casey whispered.
“There is a detective here to talk to you, Luke,” Ethan whispered. Luke nodded and got up and went downstairs.
“Rames what brings you by?” Luke asked.
“We got a call about a missing person, Travis Brewer, he was in town to meet with your brother-in-law, Eric, on a business venture and he was supposed to return back home yesterday and he hasn't, no one has heard from him all weekend,” Detective Rames said.
“Have you spoken to Eric?” Luke asked.
“Yes and he said he hasn't heard from him since he talked to him Friday and was supposed to be in contact with him Monday and he hasn't heard from him,” Detective Rames said.
“So why come ask me?” Luke asked.
“You've helped us find missing people in the past and was wondering if you could help this time,” Detective Rames said.
“Well I'm not sure about leaving my wife right now, she's not feeling well and she's pregnant with twins and it's been a difficult pregnancy so far,” Luke said.
“Luke go on, Ethan and I can be here for Karly,” Casey said.
“And you are?” Detective Rames asked.
“Casey Lawson, his brother-in-law,” Casey said.
“Okay let's go,” Luke said. He left with the detective.
Casey went upstairs to the bedroom and found Karly crying on Ethan's shoulder.
“It's okay sis,” Ethan said.
“What did he want?” Karly asked.
“He's looking for Travis and asked for Luke to help with the search,” Casey said.
“Oh god!” Karly said.
“It's okay sis, he is just doing it to throw them off,” Casey said.
“Was the detective left alone?” Karly asked.
“Yes,” Casey said.
“Check for bugs, there is equipment in the closet by the kitchen,” Karly said.
“I thought this guy was his friend,” Casey aid.
“Just do it,” Karly said. Casey went downstairs. Ethan sat with her. Casey came back an hour later.
“I was very thorough downstairs,” Casey said.
“And?” Karly asked.
“It was all clear,” Casey said.
“Okay,” Karly said.
“Sis do you want to go down to the couch?” Ethan asked.
“Yeah,” Karly said. She got up and went to the bathroom and freshened up and changed and went downstairs with Ethan and Casey and settled on the couch.
“What is today?” Karly asked.
“Friday,” Ethan said.
“Kevin has a date tonight,” Karly said.
“And Dana's wedding is Sunday,” Ethan said.
“She invited all of us, my whole family,” Karly said.
“Yep,” Ethan said. Luke came in and saw them sitting there in the living room.

CHAPTER 190

“Hey what happened?” Casey asked. Detective Rames came in and stood with Luke.
“What happened was that he told me everything,” Detective Rames said.
“What?!” Karly said.
“He told me how Travis attacked you in college and beat and raped you and his father paid off a judge which I started proceedings for corruption and bribery, he told me that his men held him in the basement of his family home where he and your brothers and father beat him and you put a bullet in him,” Detective Rames said.
“Luke why?” Casey asked.
“I call it justifiable homicide so no charges, we got his body and are taking to the funeral home in Boston where his father is waiting and we are telling him that it was a mugging gone bad,” Detective Rames said.
“Why are you letting this go?” Karly asked.
“The same thing happened to my sister and the guy got away with it but karma hit him with him dying in a car crash while driving drunk, my sister went to years of therapy and is now living a happy life with her husband and kids in Chicago,” Detective Rames said.
“I don't know what to say,” Karly said.
“Put this behind you and move on with your life, be happy and get back to your normal routine and keep this guy in line,” Detective Rames said.
“Thank you,” Karly said.
“I owe Luke my life, he's saved it so many times over the years so this is one favor that was worth it,” Detective Rames said.
“Thank you Rames, have a good day,” Luke said. He left and Luke came over and sat down and hugged her close.
“Why did you tell him everything?” Karly asked.
“I knew what happened to his sister so I knew he would understand why we did what we did,” Luke said.
“Okay so I want to move on from this, I need a dress for Matt and Dana's wedding Sunday,” Karly said.
“Okay I'll get your laptop so you can order one and one of us can pick it up,” Luke said.
“I was hoping to go shopping because I need to try on,” Karly said.
“Can you find a dress in an hour?” Luke asked.
“No,” Karly said.
“What was the size of the dress you wore to the party?” Luke asked.
“Oh right, that fit perfectly, okay get my laptop,” Karly said. He got the laptop and she searched and found the dress and ordered it and told the guys where to pick up and Casey and Ethan left to pick it up. Luke pulled Karly close and held her. Kenny came in and they told him what happened.
“So, he let it go,” Kenny said.
“Yep and we can all move on, let Dad know,” Luke said.
“Okay,” Kenny said. He went upstairs calling Rick. Luke called Austin and Eric to come over.
“Hey sis,” Austin said.
“Hey sis,” Eric said.
“Hey guys,” Karly said.
“So, what's going on,” Austin said. Luke told them everything that happened that day.
“So, it's all good, we are in the clear,” Eric said.
“Yes,” Luke said.
“Thank god,” Austin said.
“What if his father looks into it and wants to find out what really happened and wants to find the so-called guy who killed him,” Eric said.
“Rames said if it comes to that, he will say that there was no witness or evidence of the killer,” Luke said.
“Oh,” Eric said.
“Besides he could be facing legal trouble of his own,” Karly said.
“He started proceedings on corruption and bribery of a judge against him and the judge,” Luke said.
“He will find a way out of it,” Austin said.
“Rames thinks not if the judge takes a deal,” Luke said.
“Hope he does,” Eric said. The doorbell rang. Austin got up and opened the door and saw a man standing there.

CHAPTER 191

“Can I help you?” Austin asked.
“I'm looking for Karly Davis?” Michael asked.
“No Karly Davis here,” Austin said.
“Are you sure, I was told she lived here,” Michael said.
“Who told you that?” Austin asked.
“My lawyer,” Michael said.
“Who are you?” Austin asked.
“Michael Brewer, she knows my son,” Michael said.
“So you are the father of the jackass who raped and beat my sister and in turn you bribed the judge to throw out the case!” Austin said angrily.
“My son wouldn't have done that if she just gave him what he wanted,” Michael said.
“Are you fucking kidding me!” Eric said.
“Our sister didn't want him, she had a boyfriend who she loved and he could have moved on to someone else, our sister was his second victim, is she to blame too for what he did!” Austin said angrily.
“What's going on here,” Luke said.
“He's putting the blame on Karly,” Eric said.
“She is the victim here not your son!” Luke said.
“Who are you?” Michael said.
“I'm Karly's husband, Luke Stone, ever heard of the Stone Family Mafia?” Luke asked.
“Oh god,” Michael said.
“So, you have,” Luke said.
“Scared?” Austin asked.
“You should be,” Eric said.
“My wife was just walking back to her dorm when your son grabbed her and attacked her, she didn't want him, she was in love with her boyfriend at the time, you could have saved your money because she had suppressed the attack and couldn't testify against him if she blocked it out,” Luke said.
“Michael Brewer,” Detective Rames said.
“Who are you,” Michael said.
“Detective Rames, NYPD, you are under arrest for bribery of a judge,” Detective Rames said.
“Meet one of my friends, did you know that I work with the NYPD on some cases,” Luke said.
“It's you!” Karly said.
“Oh god,” Michael said.
“Add attempting to bribe a witness to the list of charges, Rames, I remember him coming to my hospital room and offering to pay my hospital bills if I don't tell anyone what happened to me, I didn't take it,” Karly said.
“You really digging a hole here, Brewer,” Detective Rames said.
“I just wanted to protect my son and his future,” Michael said.
“What about our sister, huh, where was her protection from your son, nowhere!” Austin said.
“Where was her boyfriend?” Michael asked.
“He was in Cleveland visiting his sick grandmother, I would have gone with him if I didn't have quizzes in my classes!” Karly said.
“What's going on?” Kevin asked.
“This is Travis's father,” Austin said.
“He's blaming Karly for what his son did,” Eric said.
“Are you kidding me!” Kevin said.
“This is Kevin, he was her boyfriend at the time of the attack,” Eric said.
“He said you should have been protecting her while he was just trying to protect his son and his future,” Austin said.
“So I was supposed to ignore my sick grandmother who was close to being on her deathbed?!” Kevin said.
“I'm sorry I thought I was doing what I could for my son,” Michael said.
“By trying to destroy my life in the process!” Karly said.
“Get him out of here, Rames,” Luke said. Detective Rames took him and put him in his car and the officer took the car he had come in and they all left. Luke hugged Karly to him.
“You okay baby?” Luke asked.
“Just hold me and never let go,” Karly said.
“I won't let go baby,” Luke said. They went into the house and sat in the living room. Luke held Karly in his arms.

CHAPTER 192

“Kev ready for your date?” Karly asked.
“As ready as I can be I guess,” Kevin said.
“Okay what is it?” Karly asked.
“I don't know, what if I mess up or say something wrong,” Kevin said.
“Just be yourself, you weren't nervous on our first date,” Karly said.
“Because we were friends before we went on a date because I had to make sure your brothers didn't chase me off,” Kevin said.
“You will be fine, Kevin, it's a date, no one said you had to ask her to be your girlfriend right away, I mean we weren't official until the second date anyways so who knows what will happen, just go on the date and have a good time, talk about things that interest both of you, ask her about yourself and tell her about yourself if she asks you,” Karly said.
“Okay, thanks K, see ya guys Sunday!” Kevin said.
“Tell me how the date went!” Karly said.
“Yeah Kev, you better tell us how the date went,” Luke said.
“I will bye!” Kevin said. He went out the door. Karly leaned against Luke.
“I love you,” Karly said.
“I love you too,” Luke said. He stroked her stomach and felt a kick.
“My boys are kicking,” Luke said. Austin and Eric felt her stomach and smiled.
“Our nephews!” Eric said.
“Yep!” Austin said. Casey and Ethan came back with her dress she ordered and she went to try it on and came back and showed it to them.
“Gorgeous,” Luke said.
“You look amazing sis!” Austin said.
“What he said!” Eric said.
“Beautiful sis!” Casey said. She smiled and went and changed back and came back and sat down. They all talked for a little before Austin and Eric left. Casey and Ethan went upstairs. Luke got her some dinner and they ate and watched movies before he locked up the house and went upstairs and got ready for bed.
“I'm going to rest as much as possible tomorrow so I can be ready for Sunday,” Karly said.
“Okay baby, that's a good idea,” Luke said.
“Thank you for being my rock through all this mess from my past.
“I always will be, baby, you are everything to me,” Luke said. They got into bed and he pulled her lose and she rested her head on his chest and he kissed her forehead. They went to sleep.
