Karly woke up and saw Luke awake watching her. He smiled at her.
“Is this a dream?” Karly asked.
“No baby, this is real, you are mine and I'm yours and no one is tearing us apart,” Luke said.
“I never want to be without you ever again, not even a minute,” Karly said.
“I'm never letting you go again,” Luke said.
“I think we made a baby,” Karly said.
“You think so?” Luke asked.
“We made love five times, I think, I lost count and no protection at all,” Karly said.
“Well we did get pregnant the last time while you were on the pill,” Luke said.
“I better get ahold of Henry to get him to schedule his photoshoot before that happens, I can't go through losing another baby,” Karly said.
“I know, me either,” Luke said. She reached over and got her phone and called Henry and talked with him and hung up.
“Meeting tomorrow at the agency, I need to get back to work, Matt and Dana are getting worn out,” Karly said.
“We need to go see the doctor for your all clear,” Luke said.
“Geez, not you too!” Karly said.
“What,” Luke said.
“I had to argue with Casey yesterday because I needed to go back to work,” Karly said.
“You just got out of the hospital from being in a coma for three months, the doctor would want you resting on your own for a few days,” Luke said.
“Did you handle the payroll okay?” Karly asked.
“Yeah, I looked back on how you did it before and added up the hours and all that,” Luke said.
“I wanted to give them a bonus for Miami to make up for the photoshoot that didn't happen but only one day,” Karly said.
“Next paycheck,” Luke said.
“I need to go back to work, Luke,” Karly said.
“Doctor first,” Luke said.
“Work,” Karly said.
“Doctor,” Luke said.
“I need to be at that meeting,” Karly said.
“I'll go,” Luke said.
“Dammit, Luke, I'm tired of being confined to bed, I spent most of the pregnancy in bed, now I get freedom to move around and now I'm stuck in bed again, I hate it!” Karly said.
“Even being stuck with me,” Luke said.
“But you won't be here, you said you were going to that meeting,” Karly said.
“I'll cancel it,” Luke said.
“No, how about you go with me and we have the meeting and come back home, you can carry me the whole time if that makes you feel better,” Karly said.
“Karly,” Luke said.
“I need to do this, Luke, I can't ignore the agency and it feels like I'm doing that,” Karly said.
“Everyone understands, baby, you have been through so much these past three months, you almost died,” Luke said.
“I know,” Karly said.
“I don't want you overdoing it, I love you more than anything, if anything happened to you, I couldn't go on,” Luke said.
“Just let me do the meeting with Henry and then I'll come home and stay in bed until further notice,” Karly said.
“Fine, but I'm not leaving your side,” Luke said.
“I know you won't, anyways, how's things with Hayley?” Karly asked.
“Still doing chemo, it shrunk a little, but they are going to start the aggressive chemo tomorrow,” Luke said.
“I need to see Eric,” Karly said.
“I'll call him,” Luke said. He made the call and hung up and kissed her softly and moved down her neck.
“Luke,” Karly said.
“He will be here in an hour, come on, let's shower and get dressed and get dinner going,” Luke said. They got up and showered and he made love to her in the shower and they washed off and got out and dried off and got dressed and went downstairs. Karly started cooking dinner.
“I didn't mean you had to cook,” Luke said.
“I like cooking and I don't mind, I'll sit while it's cooking,” Karly said. She got everything going and sat down. Casey came in with Jackson.
“Mommy, we need you,” Casey said. He handed Jackson to her and Karly cuddled him close. Jackson snuggled up against her.
“My sweet boy,” Karly said. Luke came in with Kingston and stood beside her. Kingston saw his mother and reached out for her.
“Hey little guy, Mommy has your brother and she can hold you one at a time and your brother is content right now,” Luke said.
“Hey little guy, I see you, hang with Daddy okay,” Karly said. Jackson reached for Luke so they switched and Kingston snuggled against Karly while Jackson snuggled against Luke.
“Hey little man, wanted to hang with me, didn't you,” Luke said. Jackson gurgled. Kingston gurgled and they smiled. The timer went off on the food and Karly handed Kingston to Luke and got the food out. She set the table.
“Food is ready!” Luke said. Luke put the boys in the playpen by the dining room table. Casey, Becca, Ethan, and Kenny sat down and they ate. After they were done, Ethan and Kenny cleaned up while Karly and Luke put the boys to bed and Karly went to lay down. She got out her phone and called Kevin.
“Hey beautiful, what's up,” Kevin said.
“Hey, I have a meeting with Henry at 9am, think you will be available for it via phone?” Karly asked.
“Actually I'll be in New York tomorrow so I'll come to the meeting,” Kevin said.
“Oh okay see ya then,” Karly said.
“See ya,” Kevin said. She hung up just as Luke came into the bedroom. She looked at him.
“What's up?” Luke asked.
“He's going to be in the city in the morning, so he'll be at the meeting,” Karly said.
“Okay,” Luke said.
“No fighting please,” Karly said.
“Fine,” Luke said.
“Also, I was thinking that if he's back to settle his apartment in the city, instead of letting it go, maybe Casey and Becca could take it over,” Karly said.
“Okay, because we own the building now,” Luke said.
“Okay,” Karly said.
“So, you want your twin to move out?” Luke asked.
“Well, no, but it's weird having one of your former flings living in the house, even though she's my brother's girlfriend,” Karly said.
“Well you don't have to worry about that because we have both moved on and happy,” Luke said.
“And I want you to know that I want you and only you and me and Kevin have moved on as well, there is no going back to the past, you are my present and future,” Karly said. He crushed his mouth to hers and pulled her close as they kissed deeply. They removed each other's clothes and they made love off and on throughout the night before falling asleep.

CHAPTER 237

The next day, Karly and Luke went to the agency and walked into the office and saw Kevin sitting on the couch talking with Matt and Dana.
“Hey guys,” Karly said.
“Hi Karly, Luke,” Dana said.
“Hi Karly, Luke,” Matt said.
“Hey beautiful, hey Luke,” Kevin said.
“Kevin,” Luke said.
“Luke, zip it,” Karly said.
“What, I just said his name acknowledging him,” Luke said.
“Your tone,” Karly said.
“Okay okay,” Luke said.
“Hey all,” Henry said.
“Hey Henry,” Karly said.
“Hi Henry,” Luke said.
“Okay, I got the shoot rescheduled for two weeks from now,” Henry said.
“Okay I should be cleared from the doctors by then, hopefully,” Karly said.
“Wait, you aren't yet?” Kevin asked.
“Are you?” Karly asked.
“As soon as I got to Cleveland,” Kevin said.
“Luke!” Karly said.
“Sorry I'll call the doctor right now,” Luke said.
“What is going on,” Kevin said.
“He made me go to marriage counseling,” Karly said.
“Karly!” Luke said.
“What, it's not a secret of what happened down there,” Karly said.
“How many sessions did you do?” Henry asked.
“One,” Karly said.
“How did it go?” Kevin asked.
“One and done,” Karly said.
“Seriously?” Henry asked.
“Yep,” Karly said.
“Karly, I have to ask, did you have something happen while you were in the coma?” Kevin asked.
“You too?!” Karly said.
“What?” Luke asked.
“I was watching the doctors work on me, I was outside my body and my dad was with me, he told me that I needed to stay with my mom, she needed me,” Kevin said.
“It was my mom, she wanted me to go with her but we saw how Luke was begging the doctors to save me and for me to stay with him and how upset and distraught he was and she knew I couldn't leave him,” Karly said.
“And that's what fixed the marriage, that fact that she almost died and couldn't leave me,” Luke said.
“So, Luke, doctor?” Karly asked.
“An hour,” Luke said.
“Next weekend Henry?” Kevin asked.
“Yep,” Henry said.
“Okay so in other news, I'm moving back here and my mom is moving with me, it was her idea, she wanted to get out of Cleveland,” Kevin said.
“Too many memories of your father?” Karly asked.
“Yeah it's been really hard on her, she is so sad and depressed, maybe a new start here will be good for her,” Kevin said.
“You still want your apartment?” Karly asked.
“Yeah since it's a two bedroom, she's moving in,” Kevin said.
“Luke and I own the building, so we are your landlords,” Karly said.
“Okay, good, no more changing to offices,” Kevin said.
“Karly!” Eric said. Eric came in and made his way to her and hugged her tight.
“I was worried when you didn't come last night,” Karly said.
“I'm sorry, sis, Hayley started getting really sick when I was leaving and I couldn't leave her,” Eric said.
“It's all right, how is she today?” Karly asked.
“Starting the aggressive chemo today, I'm on my way to get her and take her to it, I had to get a few things done at the office,” Eric said.
“Tell Hayley we are thinking about her,” Dana said.
“She's in our prayers,” Matt said.
“I will,” Eric said.
“Luke and I will be there, I have an appointment that's overdue to get me clear to come back to work and go back to Miami next weekend,” Karly said.
“You are going back?!” Eric said.
“I have to oversee the shoot, Matt, Dana, and Kevin will be busy,” Karly said.
“No elevators,” Eric said.
“I plan to take the stairs anyways,” Karly said.
“Me too,” Kevin said.
“Well, the only problem is with that, falling down the stairs, like taking a wrong step,” Luke said.
“I'm not taking the chance getting stuck in the elevator again,” Karly said.
“Me either,” Kevin said.
“I will be there with her,” Luke said.
“Okay, I just don't want to get the phone call like last time,” Eric said.
“I will do my best,” Karly said. They continued the meeting and Eric left to get Hayley to go for her chemo. Karly talked with Kevin and Henry about the shoot and Kevin went to work on the paperwork to give Matt and Dana a break from it and Luke took Karly to the doctor for her appointment.

CHAPTER 238

A couple hours later, Karly got out of her doctor's appointment with the all clear to resume her normal activities although there was one thing that happened before she got the all clear and that was making love with her husband. They met up with Eric and waited with him.
“Hey bro,” Karly said.
“How did it go for you?” Eric asked.
“All clear,” Karly said.
“Good,” Eric said.
“How are things with my sis?” Luke asked.
“So far okay, she's worried about the side effects to this treatment,” Eric said.
“She's strong, she'll get through it,” Karly said.
“I'm glad we did the marriage counseling and worked things out, I can't lose her,” Eric said. Luke's phone beeped. He looked at it and looked at Karly.
“I need to get to the club, some kind of emergency, Eric, can you take my wife home?” Luke asked.
“I can go with you,” Karly said.
“It's okay, baby, I don't know how long I'll be and you should get home to the boys,” Luke said.
“I'll get my sis home, I want to see my nephews, Mom and Dad are getting coffee so they can take Hayley home,” Eric said.
“Thanks bro, I'll see you later baby,” Luke said. He kissed her and left. Karly watched him go. Eric put his arm around her.
“You okay sis?” Eric asked.
“Yeah I'm fine,” Karly said. Hayley came out just as Peter and Barbara came back. Eric hugged Hayley.
“You okay honey?” Eric asked.
“I'm okay, just tired,” Hayley said.
“I'm taking Karly home and want to see our nephews so Mom and Dad can take you home and I'll be home soon,” Eric said.
“Where's my brother?” Hayley asked.
“Emergency at the club,” Eric said.
“Oh okay, I'll see you at home baby,” Hayley said. Eric kissed her and she left with her parents. Eric took her home and spend time with Kingston and Jackson before heading out. Ethan and Kenny came in and saw Karly with the boys.
“Karly,” Ethan said.
“There is something you should know,” Kenny said.
“We were at the club,” Ethan said.
“Luke's club?” Karly asked.
“Yeah, we saw Luke come in and walk over to a woman and they hugged and went into his office,” Ethan said.
“Oh,” Karly said.
“She came out an hour later with her hair disheveled and her clothes wrinkled,” Kenny said.
“She was smiling,” Ethan said.
“Karly, I think he's cheating,” Kenny said.
“What, are you sure?” Karly asked.
“Yes Karly,” Ethan said.
“Did you confront him?” Karly asked.
“We didn't get the chance,” Ethan said.
“He left right after her,” Kenny said.
“Oh god,” Karly said. She got her phone and checked something and her heart sank.
“Sis?” Ethan asked.
“He's at a hotel near the club,” Karly said.
“I'm calling Dad,” Kenny said. She covered her face with her hands and cried. Casey and Becca came in and Ethan told them what was going on. Casey sat down and took Karly in his arms and she cried on his shoulder.
“Ethan, call Austin and Eric,” Casey said.
“I can't believe this,” Karly said.
“What can I do?” Becca asked.
“Stay here with Karly and the twins, my brothers and I are going to go find our so-called brother-in-law,” Casey said.
“Look for me where?” Luke asked.

CHAPTER 239

Casey, Ethan, and Kenny stood up and faced Luke. Becca sat with Karly on the couch.
“What's going on, why is my wife upset?” Luke asked.
“Why don't you tell us, Luke,” Ethan said.
“We were at the club tonight and saw you come in and hug a woman and went into your office,” Kenny said.
“An hour later, she came out with her clothes wrinkled and hair a mess,” Ethan said.
“You left right after her,” Kenny said.
“Karly located you at a hotel near the club,” Ethan said.
“So you guys think I cheated on my wife,” Luke said.
“Did you?” Karly asked.
“God no, Karly, I couldn't do that to you!” Luke said.
“Who was she, Luke?” Ethan asked.
“My cousin, Sarah, she was in town for business,” Luke said.
“Why was her hair a mess and clothes wrinkled?” Kenny asked.
“Drew was in the office, they hook up when she's in town,” Luke said.
“So you sat in the office with them going at it?” Ethan asked.
“No, I stepped out back and made some calls on my phone,” Luke said.
“Are you lying to me?” Karly asked. Luke came over and knelt down in front of her and took her hands in his and looked in her eyes.
“No, baby, I'm not lying, I could never cheat on you, I love you so much, you and our boys are my life, you three are my reasons for living, there is no one else for me, only you,” Luke said.
“What was the big emergency?” Karly asked.
“James had to leave to go to his wife who was in a car accident, Drew and Sam were at the other club so I had to take care of the bar until Travis got there and Drew showed up when he got word that Sarah was there,” Luke said.
“You better not be lying to me, if you are, I'm done,” Karly said.
“I swear on our sons' lives that I'm not cheating on you, I love you more than life and there is no one else for me, you're my heart and soul,” Luke said.
“I don't know, Luke, you've lied to me before, more than once, how do I know you aren't lying now,” Karly said.
“I may have lied about those things but never would I ever lie about this, I promised you that I would never cheat and I will keep that promise forever,” Luke said.
“I need some time alone,” Karly said. She got up and took Kingston and Jackson upstairs with her and closed the door to the bedroom and sat down with them.
“What do I do, boys, should I believe Daddy, do you think he's lying to me, to us?” Karly asked.
“Karly please,” Luke said.
“What part of I need time alone did you not understand?!” Karly said.
“You aren't alone, you have our boys,” Luke said.
“I need time away from everyone who can talk, the boys can't talk back,” Karly said.
“Karly, for the last time, I did not cheat on you!” Luke said.
“And I am having a hard time believing you,” Karly said.
“Karly,” Luke said.
“Just go,” Karly said.
“Karly, if I walk out that door, I'm done, we're done,” Luke said.
“Are you kidding me right now?!” Karly said.
“No, I'm not kidding,” Luke said.
“You are such a hypocrite, you make me go to marriage counseling because of what happened in the elevator in Miami, one tiny little kiss and we need marriage counseling, but now because I want time to myself to think, you are threatening to walk out the door and end our marriage, because I need time to think about everything, you are unbelievable,” Karly said.
“Nothing happened tonight, Karly, she is my cousin!” Luke said.
“A cousin I never met nor you or Hayley never mentioned!” Karly said.
“She's been overseas for work and Dad and her dad had a falling out so we all were kept from being in contact for awhile until they could patch things up,” Luke said.
“I need to get out of here,” Karly said. She put the boys in the cribs in their room and went downstairs.
“Karly,” Luke said.
“I need to go for a walk to clear my head, okay!” Karly said. She went out the door. Luke rested his forehead against the door and banged his fist against it. He sent a text to Drew. He looked and saw Casey, Becca, Ethan, and Kenny standing there. He went down to the gym and put on some boxing gloves and started hitting the punching bag. The guys and Becca stood at the doorway watching. They watched him hit the bag and stop and rest his forehead on the bag and let out a frustrated scream. They saw tears in his eyes.
“Luke,” Casey said.
“Find your sister please,” Luke said. Casey and Ethan left to look for Karly. Luke sank to the floor. Becca and Kenny came in and stood there with him.
“I didn't cheat on her, I couldn't do that, I would never do anything to destroy my family, she didn't want to believe me, I can't lie to her, I have before but I can't lie to her anymore, she is my life,” Luke said.
“Casey and Ethan will find her and bring her home,” Kenny said. Luke covered his face with his hands after taking off the gloves. Casey came running in.
“Luke! Come quick!” Casey said.

CHAPTER 240

Luke ran upstairs and ran to the living room and saw Karly lying on the couch. She was crying. Ethan was wrapping an ice pack on her ankle.
“What happened?” Luke asked.
“We found her down the road in the ditch,” Ethan said.
“I'm fine, I took a wrong step and my ankle twisted and it gave out and I couldn't walk on it,” Karly said.
“Come on, let's go,” Luke said.
“I'm fine,” Karly said.
“We need to get it x-rayed to make sure it's not broken,” Luke said.
“Oh right,” Karly said. Luke carried her out the door and took her to the hospital and they got her x-rays and settled in a room to wait for the doctor.
“I'm sorry,” Karly said.
“It's okay baby,” Luke said.
“No, it's not, I know you wouldn't cheat, I don't know what's wrong with me,” Karly said.
“Your brothers told you what they saw and you had so many things going through your head,” Luke said.
“But I don't know why I doubted you when you promised me you wouldn't cheat, I now know that I don't deserve you,” Karly said.
“What, Karly, what are you saying,” Luke said.
“Every time we go somewhere, there are women watching you like you are on the menu, I could be right there beside you and they only see you and they wouldn't care about the ring on your finger,” Karly said.
“I could say the same, with guys,” Luke said.
“How can I compete with other women, I gave birth to twins, I don't have the perfect body anymore,” Karly said.
“Baby, it's perfect to me, because you gave birth to our sons, you carried them inside you, there is no one else for me, you are the most beautiful, amazing, sexy, gorgeous woman in my eyes, no one can compare to you, if one of them stood next to you and asked me to choose between you two, it would be you I choose, always,” Luke said.
“Oh god Luke!” Karly said. He took her in his arms and hugged her. She held onto him.
“I love you more than life itself, never doubt my love for you, baby, you are the only one for me,” Luke said.
“I love you too, you are everything to me, I can't live without you!” Karly said.
“I can't live without you baby,” Luke said. He kissed her softly. The door opened and the doctor came in.
“Mrs. Stone, the x-rays show your ankle is fractured, we are going to put a cast on it and we will keep you in it for four weeks and then have an other x-ray and see how it is healed and if it's healed, we will put you in a boot for two weeks and then we will see how it is and you will be back to normal if it all checks out,” the doctor said.
“Okay thank you,” Karly said.
Two hours later, Karly was released and they went home.
“I'm so tired,” Karly said.
“Let's get to bed,” Luke said. He carried her into the house. Casey, Ethan, and Kenny came over to them.
“Fractured ankle, cast for four weeks, back to get x-rays then a boot for two weeks and see how it is then,” Luke said.
“We will help out with the boys as much as we can,” Ethan said.
“Luke, I'm still going to Miami,” Karly said.
“Baby we will see,” Luke said.
“I have to go you know that,” Karly said.
“Fine but you can't take the stairs now,” Luke said.
“Crap, I'll have to be brave and hopefully they have the elevators back to normal working order,” Karly said.
“I'll have them check the lines before we use them,” Luke said.
“Good idea,” Karly said.
“You guys okay now?” Kenny asked.
“Yes we are good, take care of your nephews for the night?” Karly asked.
“We will,” Ethan said. Luke carried her up to their bedroom and they get into bed and he holds her close as they go to sleep.

CHAPTER 241

A week later, they were back in Miami. Karly was at the location of the shoot leaning on her crutches talking with Kevin on how the shoot was going to go.
“Okay beautiful, just like last time, right?” Kevin asked.
“Yes, that's how Henry wants it, right Henry?” Karly asked.
“Yep,” Henry said.
“We should find you a chair,” Kevin said.
“That's what I said,” Luke said.
“I'm fine, been sitting for a week,” Karly said.
“Baby please,” Luke said.
“The shoot ain't happening until you sit, it's three to one,” Henry said.
“Fine,” Karly said. Luke got her a chair and she sat down. Kevin got his equipment ready and the models were ready and it began.
“Henry, David come with you?” Karly asked.
“Not this time, our surrogate's boyfriend had to go out of town on a business trip, so David stayed back with her,” Henry said.
“How is that going?” Karly asked.
“Great, can't wait to be a dad,” Henry said.
“I bet,” Karly said.
“Luke, what's it like being a father?” Henry asked.
“Amazing,” Luke said.
“Where are the little guys?” Henry asked.
“Back home with their grandparents,” Luke said.
“How do you handle being away from them?” Henry asked.
“It's not easy, we miss them, but we know they are in good hands with Grandpa Rick and Grandma Angela and Aunt Alyssa,” Luke said.
“Are they still you know?” Henry asked.
“I pump a lot,” Karly said.
“She has an endless supply in the freezer at home,” Luke said.
“Do you think we can buy some when it's time,” Henry said.
“Yeah,” Karly said.
“We might just give it to you,” Luke said.
“What he said,” Karly said.
“I will talk to David and let you know,” Henry said.
“Hey guys, that's all for the day,” Kevin said.
“Perfect, same time tomorrow everyone!” Henry said.
“Hopefully with no issues with the elevators,” Dana said.
“Luke had them checked, all good,” Karly said.
“Thank goodness,” Matt said.
“I don't want to spend three months away from my boys,” Karly said.
“I don't want that either,” Luke said.
“I meant you too baby,” Karly said.
“I know baby,” Luke said.
“Hey, Kev ready?” Bethany asked.
“Yep, did I forget to tell you that me and Bethany have a date?” Kevin asked.
“Yes, you did, Kev,” Karly said.
“Is it okay, Karly?” Bethany asked.
“Why would I have a problem with it?” Karly asked.
“Because of your past with him and that we work together, you are our boss and all that,” Bethany said.
“Bethany, no issue here, what Kevin and I had is in the past, we are best friends and he is godfather to my sons, no issue except if you break his heart, you will have to deal with me, he's had his heart broken before,” Karly said.
“By my cousin who dumped him for his cousin when he was grieving the loss of his father,” Dana said.
“I promise that I won't hurt him,” Bethany said.
“Good now go on your date and have fun, be back before ten and in bed by eleven, both of you have an early morning,” Karly said.
“Okay Mom,” Kevin said.
“Hey still your boss,” Karly said.
“Yes ma'am,” Kevin said. They left. Karly looked at Luke. He hugged her. They went back to the hotel and went up to their room.

CHAPTER 242

Karly and Luke walked into their room at the hotel. Karly sat on the bed and pushed her crutches down.
“I hate those things,” Karly said.
“I know, baby, but three more weeks,” Luke said.
“I know,” Karly said.
“Let's get you a shower and I'll give you your pill,” Luke said. She nodded and he helped her undress and he got undressed and they went into the bathroom and he got the water ready and wrapped up her cast and they got into the shower where he washed them off and got out and dried them off and unwrapped her cast and helped her get dressed in her pjs and he put boxers on and gave her a pill and they got into bed and went to sleep. The next morning, she woke up in Luke's arms and they kissed deeply.
“I love you so much,” Karly said.
“I love you too baby,” Luke said.
“Let's get going babe,” Karly said. He helped her get up and dressed and he got dressed and got her crutches and they headed out and got to the location and had breakfast and she sat down and watched Kevin work while talking with Henry.
“I wonder how the date went last night,” Karly said.
“Terrible,” Bethany said.
“Bethany, what do you mean,” Karly said.
“I can't compete with you, Karly, you were his first everything,” Bethany said.
“This is not some competition, Bethany, I am married to Luke, what Kevin and I had been in the past,” Karly said.
“It may be in the past for you but not for him, he can't get over you, he says he is but his eyes say something else, no one compares to you,” Bethany said. She walks off and Karly covers her face with her hands and groans. She looks up and sees Kevin standing there.
“Seriously Kev?!” Karly said.
“She's wrong, Karly, I am over you, you are my best friend and that's it, it's just her excuse to get with Luke,” Kevin said.
“What?” Karly said.
“What?” Luke said.
“She wants Luke to leave you and she can comfort him, she was going to use me to get close to him, she was trying to get me in on her plan,” Kevin said.
“Oh god she is so fired,” Karly said.
“I already did after she walked away from you guys here,” Kevin said. They saw Bethany leaving with her things.
“BETHANY!!!!” Luke yelled. She stopped and came over to them. She smiled seductively at Luke.
“You want me Luke?” Bethany asked.
“Actually, I wouldn't touch you if you were the last woman on earth!” Luke said.
“Why would you do this, Bethany, he is my husband and the father of my children and you think you have a chance with him, not in a million years!” Karly said.
“You would never have a chance, never, if you come near us again, you will regret it, I'm in the Mafia, Bethany, I wouldn't test me,” Luke said. Her eyes widened and she ran off.
“I'm sorry, guys,” Kevin said.
“You didn't know she would be like that,” Luke said.
“Get all the models gathered over here except Matt, Dana, and Sean,” Karly said. Kevin gathered the models and Matt, Dana, and Sean stood off behind them. Karly stood up using her crutches.
“Now we had to fire Bethany because she was trying to break up my marriage so she could have my husband all to herself and she was using Kevin to do it, now I want to make sure that it doesn't happen again, so if any of you want my husband, please gather your things and leave because he is married to me and that's where he wants to be,” Karly said. No one moves and she smiled. One by one they told her that they were glad Bethany was gone and that she and Luke belong together.
“Okay so Kev, what will you do now?” Karly asked.
“Just do what I always do, work,” Kevin said.
“No more dating?” Karly asked.
“Only until the right girl comes along,” Kevin said.
“She will when you least expect it,” Karly said.
“Back to work everyone!” Kevin said. He and the models went back to work. Karly sat down slowly. Luke sat with her.
“I can't believe this,” Karly said.
“I know baby, any girl can try but no one will take me away from you, I'm yours and you are mine,” Luke said.
“I love you,” Karly said.
“I love you too baby,” Luke said. He leaned in and kissed her softly. He rested his forehead against hers.
“Luke, I need you,” Karly said.
“Karly not here,” Luke said.
“I know that,” Karly said.
“When we get back to the hotel, we will have a little fun,” Luke said.
“Fun huh?” Karly said.
“Okay fine, when we get back to the hotel, I'm going to make love to you until you can't walk or move period,” Luke said quietly. She closed her eyes and smiled.

CHAPTER 243

Karly and Luke were sitting there watching the shoot when two police officers came up to them.
“Luke Stone?” Cop 1 asked.
“Yes?” Luke asked.
“You are under arrest,” Cop 2 said.
“What for?” Karly asked.
“He threatened a woman and she is fearing for her life,” Cop 1 said.
“I was right here, and he did no such thing,” Karly said.
“Same here, there was no threat,” Henry said.
“Bethany Garrison?” Cop 2 asked.
“She worked for my modeling agency until I fired her,” Karly said.
“What was your reason behind her termination?” Cop 1 asked.
“She became obsessed with my husband and went on a date with my staff photographer and was going to use him in a plan to get to my husband,” Karly said.
“She asked me to be a part of the plan to split Luke and his wife up so she can comfort him but I wanted no part of it because his wife is my best friend, and Karly wasn't the one who fired her, I did,” Kevin said.
“Regardless she was fired and we told her to leave, he did say she would regret it if she came near us because he is King of the Stone Family Mafia in New York, everything he does is legal, he sells guns, ammo, and vests to the NYPD and has helped them on occasion with some cases, he's not a killer,” Karly said.
“He never said anything about killing her,” Henry said.
“My husband is not going anywhere, are you two even real cops?” Karly asked.
“Yes, we are,” Cop 1 said.
“Badges?” Karly asked. They pulled them out and showed them to Karly. Paul and Dev showed up to the shoot.
“What's going on here?” Dev asked.
“Are these two really cops?” Karly asked.
“Crap,” Cop 2 said.
“Nope,” Dev said.
“We know all the cops in Miami,” Paul said.
“Never seen them,” Dev said.
“Okay we aren't cops,” Cop 1 said.
“Let's go for a ride, boys, Luke, Karly, meet us at Dev's club,” Paul said.
“Okay,” Karly said. Paul and Dev took the fake cops away. Karly looked at Luke. He made a phone call.
“Call her baby,” Luke said. She made the call to Bethany asking her to come back to the shoot. She said Luke was gone.
“I'll go hide,” Luke said. He went to hide and she saw Bethany coming towards her.
“Karly, you okay?” Bethany asked.
“No, my husband got arrested,” Karly said.
“I'm sorry, Karly, I needed to protect myself,” Bethany said.
“He is not a killer,” Karly said.
“But I can be,” Luke said. Luke appeared behind her with Kevin, Drew, and Sam.
“Babe, I know you wouldn't dare kill her,” Karly said.
“Nope, boys, take her to Dev's club, and put her with her buddies,” Luke said.
“What,” Bethany said.
“Oh we have friends in Miami who know every cop and the two guys who came to arrest Luke were not real cops, we figured it out, Bethany, you hired them to take Luke away somewhere so you could have him, sorry, but he is my husband!” Karly said.
“You belong in a mental hospital, Bethany, everything you did is insane!” Kevin said.
“You are obsessed with a married man who doesn't even want you!” Karly said.
“Take her away boys, we will be there soon,” Luke said. Sam and Drew took her away. The models watched it all.
“Okay everyone, that's it for the day, same time in the morning,” Karly said. They cleaned everything up. Karly looked at Luke and smiled.
“Kev, want to come watch the show?” Karly asked.
“Heck yes I do, I want my revenge on the bitch,” Kevin said. Karly, Luke, and Kevin went to Dev's club.
“Hey guys, we got them in the special room, the guys wanted to confess as soon as the girl was brought in,” Dev said.
“She's mine,” Karly said.
“You got it my queen,” Dev said.
“She's my queen, Dev,” Luke said.
“He knows that babe,” Karly said. Dev smiled and nodded and they walked to the back room and closed the door. The room was soundproof so it was quiet in the room. Paul, Drew, and Sam stood off to the side while the two fake cops and Bethany sat tied to chairs. They were gagged as well.
“Well, well, well, what should we do boys?” Karly asked.
“I say kill them,” Sam said. Their eyes widened and they started freaking out. Bethany looked at Karly pleading with her. Karly went over to her and slapped her across the face.
“You should have not messed with me, bitch, my husband is the King of the Stone Family Mafia and I'm his queen, if you are to be scared of anybody, it's me, I have killed before,” Karly said. Her eyes widened and she started crying.
“Want to know how I got away with it, justifiable homicide, the guy I killed, he beat me and raped me in college, his father paid a judge to throw out the case, I killed the guy who attacked me, I got my revenge, so I can be lethal, are you scared?” Karly asked. Bethany cried and nodded her head.
“You should be because I would do anything to keep whores like you away from my husband,” Karly said.
“Boys, what should we do here?” Luke asked.
“Like I said, kill them,” Sam said.
“Too easy,” Drew said.
“We could take them to the cops and have them arrested for impersonating a police officer, I bet they would sing, confess to everything they were supposed to do, about who hired them and what they were to do,” Dev said.
“Good idea and since we are letting you both live, you both will tell the cops everything and ask for the max sentence for prison, you plead guilty to any charge brought against you, got it?” Karly said. The two guys nodded and Drew and Sam took them out. The door closed and they all looked at Bethany. She sat there trembling as they all looked at her.

CHAPTER 244

Karly stood there on her crutches glaring at Bethany as she sat there crying.
“I say we torture her,” Karly said.
“Baby, you can barely stand without your crutches,” Luke said.
“Crap, okay how about we throw her in jail or the mental hospital,” Karly said.
“I vote mental hospital because what she did was psychotic,” Kevin said.
“Jail is too good for her,” Luke said.
“We will have our guys take her to the institution and we will make a big donation in order to keep her there indefinitely,” Paul said.
“I'll make a call,” Dev said. Karly walked up to Bethany and punched her twice in the face.
“I should kill you for what you did and what you were going to do, but death is too easy for you as well,” Karly said. Bethany sat there sobbing. Karly slapped her and hobbled over to Luke and kissed him deeply as Paul's guys came in and took Bethany out of the room.
“Dev, how is married life?” Karly asked.
“Amazing, I love it, we are trying for kids now,” Dev said.
“I'm sorry I didn't make it to the wedding,” Karly said.
“I understood completely, you had to do what was best for the little guys, where are they?” Dev asked.
“Home with my dad and stepmom,” Karly said.
“They are handsome little guys,” Paul said.
“You saw them?!” Dev said.
“Last time they were in Miami, Luke brought them to the club, he planned to bring them by the next day but the elevator and these two were stuck inside,” Paul said.
“I get anxious when I get on one now,” Kevin said.
“I bet,” Paul said.
“I need to make a trip up there to meet them,” Dev said.
“You should and bring your wife too,” Karly said.
“Actually, would you guys like to come for dinner tonight?” Dev asked.
“Us who exactly?” Karly asked.
“You three, my wife's sister will be there so it would be better for her to not be the only one there without a significant other,” Dev said. Karly looked at Luke and Kevin and they nodded.
“Sure,” Karly said.
“Okay see you guys in a couple hours,” Dev said. They left and went back to the hotel. They went to their rooms and showered and changed.
“Ready baby?” Luke asked.
“Yeah I think so,” Karly said.
“Holy mother of god, baby, are you trying to kill me?!” Luke said.
“What, too much?” Karly asked.
“No baby, you are totally hot and gorgeous and I don't know how long I will last without getting you out of it,” Luke said.
“You can do it, we can have plenty of fun when we get back here tonight,” Karly said.
“You won't be able to walk at all tomorrow when I get done with you,” Luke said.
“Let's go,” Karly said. They met Kevin in the hallway and they headed to Dev's house.
“Wow, it's beautiful,” Karly said.
“As are you my love,” Luke said. They got out of the car and they walked to the door. Karly was using her crutches. The door opened and a woman stood there.
“Luke Stone, you are making her hobble her way to the door on crutches when you can just carry her!” Sara said.
“He had to carry me while I was pregnant and on bed rest, I'm Karly, his wife,” Karly said.
“I'm Sara, Dev's wife,” Sara said. Luke took the crutches and handed them to Kevin and picked up Karly and carried her inside.
“This is my best friend, Kevin,” Karly said.
“Hello,” Kevin said.
“Hi Kevin, nice to meet you, good thing you came because my sister would have felt alone,” Sara said.
“That's what Dev said,” Kevin said.
“Sara?” Samantha asked. Her sister came up to them and saw Kevin and he saw her and they just stared at each other.
“Uh, hi I'm Samantha, Sara's sister,” Samantha said.
“I'm Karly Stone, and this is my husband, Luke, we own a part of Dev's club, and this is my best friend, Kevin Parker,” Karly said.
“Hi there,” Kevin said.
“Hi Kevin, thanks for coming with them, now I don't feel like the fifth wheel, come on,” Samantha said. She took his hand and pulled him into the living room and sat down with him and they began talking.
“That didn't take long,” Karly said.
“No, it didn't, okay, I'll get Dev, dinner should be ready soon,” Sara said. She went to get her husband. Luke carried Karly into the living room and he sat down with her in his lap and wrapped his arms around her.
“You okay baby?” Luke asked.
“I'm fine babe,” Karly said.
“I love you,” Luke said.
“I love you too,” Karly said. They sat there watching Kevin and Samantha talk and get to know each other. Sara and Dev came in.
“We have some news,” Dev said.
“I'm pregnant,” Sara said.
“I'm going to be an aunt!” Samantha said. She hugged them. Luke and Kevin hugged them. Karly shook hands.
“Congratulations!” Karly said.
“Thank you,” Sara said. They went in and had dinner and talked. A few hours later, they went back to the hotel. Luke kept his promise and made love to Karly all night long and she knew she would pay for it in the morning.
