The next day, Karly was sitting at the photoshoot with Luke and Henry. Kevin showed up with Samantha.
“Hey beautiful, hey Luke, hey Henry,” Kevin said.
“Hey Kev,” Luke said.
“Hey Kev!” Henry said.
“Samantha, this is Henry, he's a fashion designer who contracts with the agency, he is the reason we are down here for a photoshoot,” Kevin said.
“Nice to meet you, Henry, thank you for bringing them down here, especially Kevin,” Samantha said.
“You guys have a date tonight, don't you,” Karly said.
“Yes,” Samantha said blushing.
“Good, he deserves to be happy and if you can make him that way and keep him that way, you are good in my book,” Karly said.
“So, you guys are best friends?” Samantha asked.
“Yep,” Karly said.
“Luke, you don't mind him calling her beautiful?” Samantha asked.
“Nope because it's the truth, she is beautiful, he's always called her that, ever since they were in college,” Luke said.
“You and Kevin went to college together?” Samantha asked.
“Yep, Harvard, I was there for business and he was studying to be a lawyer with a minor in photography, he does both back home, he is the staff photographer for the agency and he is partner with my family's lawyer in his firm,” Karly said.
“Have you always been best friend?” Samantha asked.
“No, he's my ex, we met freshman year and were a couple until graduation, he got an internship to Paris, I almost went with him but my mom was diagnosed with cancer so I had to stay back for her and we didn't want to do long distance so we broke up as friends,” Karly said.
“Karly, did you two sleep together?” Samantha asked.
“We were each other's first time, I never had a boyfriend until Kevin because my two older brothers would chase off any guy who showed an interest in me, Kevin was the first guy they let me be with,” Karly said.
“They liked him?” Samantha asked.
“Oh yeah, he was like a brother to them, still is,” Karly said.
“If you are wondering why they didn't get back together when he came back was because when she saw him again, it was at a photoshoot here in Miami, and she and I were already married,” Luke said.
“What Kevin and I had is in the past, he's my best friend and godfather to my twin boys,” Karly said.
“Who is their godmother?” Samantha asked.
“My sister, Hayley, she's married to Karly's brother, Eric,” Luke said.
“Have you called to see how she's doing, babe?” Karly asked.
“I better,” Luke said.
“Hayley's been fighting a brain tumor, it's her second one and now she's doing aggressive chemo,” Karly said.
“Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that, I hope she beats it again,” Samantha said.
“She has to, she's got a baby girl and another one on the way,” Henry said.
“She's doing chemo while pregnant?” Samantha asked.
“No, they did an embryo transfer and my twin brother's girlfriend is carrying the baby for them,” Karly said.
“Baby I have to go back,” Luke said.
“What happened?” Karly said.
“Hayley's worse, I need to go back, I'll have the plane come back for you guys tomorrow,” Luke said.
“Luke I should go with you,” Karly said.
“Karly, you need to be here to supervise the shoot, Kev is busy with pictures and Matt and Dana are modeling, you are the boss here,” Luke said.
“Luke, I think I should be with you, you will need me,” Karly said.
“Karly,” Luke said.
“Unless there is a reason you don't want me going back with you,” Karly said.
“Baby, I told you before, I couldn't do that to you and I never will,” Luke said.
“Then why can't I go back with you?” Karly asked.
“That guy, Charlie Tucker, he's out of jail,” Luke said.
“I thought he confessed and wanted to pay,” Karly said.
“Apparently his mother talked to him and got him to recant everything and he was released, his father is working on getting a restraining order against him on your behalf,” Luke said.
“What is going on?” Kevin asked.
“That guy who wanted to kill Luke is out of jail,” Karly said.
“The guy who hit on you and wanted Luke out of the way?” Kevin asked.
“Yeah, Hayley's worse and Luke wants to leave me behind and go back alone,” Karly said.
“Karly, I think it's best, I'll get her home, man,” Kevin said.
“I'll let you know when it is safe,” Luke said.
“Luke,” Karly said.
“Baby, I want you safe and you will be safer here, I'll call Paul and Dev and they can have their guys protect you,” Luke said.
“He couldn't know we are down here,” Karly said.
“He might ask around,” Luke said.
“Tell James,” Karly said.
“James wouldn't tell him, he knows who he is, and Casey has already contacted the other clubs, no one will tell where we are,” Luke said.
“So, you are going back to face him,” Karly said.
“And have a chat with his mother,” Luke said.
“Luke,” Karly said.
“I'll be okay, I have to do this, I will do whatever it takes to keep you safe,” Luke said.
“Luke please be careful,” Karly said. He kissed her deeply and rested his forehead against hers.
“I love you more than life itself, I'll call you when I get there,” Luke said.
“I love you too,” Karly said.
“Kev, Henry, take care of her,” Luke said.
“We will, man,” Kevin said.
“Yeah Luke, go get that guy,” Henry said. Luke kissed her again and left. Henry hugged Karly. Kevin knelt down in front of her.
“He'll be okay,” Kevin said.
“I know, I just miss him when he's not with me,” Karly said.
“Henry, what did you mean by go get that guy, is Luke a cop?” Samantha asked.
“No, but he works with them at times,” Henry said.
“Samantha, Luke is in the mafia, he is King of the Stone Family Mafia, one of the biggest mafia families in New York, Karly is his queen,” Kevin said.
“He's in the mafia, he's a killer?” Samantha asked.
“Not really, he's only killed one person since I've known him and that was my stepdad because my stepdad was trying to kill me, he killed him in defense of me, everything he does is on the legal side, he sells guns, ammo, and vests to the NYPD and helps on some of their cases,” Karly said.
“Please don't let any of this change anything with us, I want to go on the date and get to know you and see where this goes,” Kevin said.
“No, it's fine, it doesn't bother me, just shocked at what you guys told me, your stepdad tried to kill you?” Samantha asked.
“Yep,” Karly said.
“Why would he do that?” Samantha asked.
“Because he never wanted a daughter and he told me I was a mistake and never should have been born, I didn't know at the time that he wasn't my real father, he and my mom were separated for a time and she got involved with my real father,” Karly said. She preceded to tell her everything. Samantha sat there in shock.
“I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but it was worth it, the money he left you guys,” Samantha said.
“We only took it because he owed us for dealing with him growing up,” Karly said.
“I would too if I was in your shoes, he had no right telling you that you were a mistake and shouldn't had been born, that's just wrong, you were born because your mom wanted you,” Samantha said.
“And my real dad if he had known about me,” Karly said.
“Was he happy when he found out?” Samantha asked.
“Yes he was, he should have known about me when I was four, my mom went to his house to tell him but he wasn't home, my stepmom was, my mom ran off without saying anything, my dad regrets not being home that day,” Karly said.
“Hey guys,” Paul said.
“Hey,” Dev said.
“Hi boys,” Samantha said.
“We took the liberty of checking you out of the hotel, Karly and Kevin, you can stay at the house with me and Sara,” Dev said.
“We should stay at the hotel,” Karly said.
“To keep an eye on the models,” Kevin said.
“I can do that, Matt and Dana can too,” Henry said.
“Yes, we can do it,” Matt said.
“All right, you know the drill, curfew at ten, everyone bed by eleven,” Karly said.
“Got it,” Matt said.
“I'll stay at the house too,” Samantha said.
“You always do,” Dev said.
“Because we are family now, Dev,” Samantha said.
“I know and wouldn't have it any other way,” Dev said.
Three hours later, Karly, Kevin, and Samantha arrived at Dev's ouse.
“Karly, I need your help on something,” Samantha said.
“What's up?” Karly asked.
“I want to look good for my date with Kevin,” Samantha said.
“I have just the dress, I think we are the same size,” Karly said.
They went to the room Karly was staying in. Karly looked though her bags and pulled out a dress and Samantha tried it on.
“It's perfect,” Samantha said.
“You will definitely knock his socks off,” Karly said.
“Has he seen you in this dress?” Samantha asked.
“Nope, I haven't worn it yet,” Karly said.
“I should find something else,” Samantha said.
“Nope, wear it, it looks better on you,” Karly said.
“Thank you, Karly,” Samantha said.
“You're welcome, now go have fun,” Karly said. There was a knock and Karly opened it and saw Kevin there.
“Hello handsome, your date is ready,” Karly said.
“Wow, you look gorgeous, Samantha,” Kevin said.
“Thank you, you look very handsome,” Samantha said.
“Have fun you two and don't stay out too late!” Karly said.
“Okay Mom,” Kevin said. Kevin and Samantha left for their date. Karly went and took a shower and put on her pjs and sent a text to Luke saying she loved him and missed him. She went to sleep.

CHAPTER 246

Karly was woken up by someone coming in her room and sitting on the bed. She looked and saw Kevin sitting there.
“Kev, what is it?” Karly asked.
“I couldn't wait until morning to tell you about my date,” Kevin said.
“How was it?” Karly asked.
“Amazing, we talked for hours, we kissed goodnight, Karly, it was magical, I felt something there, I think she's the one,” Kevin said.
“I'm so happy for you!” Karly said.
“Thanks beautiful, I asked her to be my girlfriend, she said yes, she wants to move to New York to be with me, she will need a job and she's got a business degree like you do,” Kevin said.
“Well she can come work at the agency with us or she can go work with Eric or Austin,” Karly said.
“I was thinking the same thing, I also told her that if she is to be with me, she will have to be okay with you being my best friend and she said she was okay with it, that she wants to be your friend too,” Kevin said.
“I want her as a friend too,” Karly said.
“That's good because I don't know what I would do if you weren't in my life,” Kevin said.
“Same goes for me and who would be godfather to my sons,” Karly said.
“You have five brothers,” Kevin said.
“But I couldn't decide between them, I mean, when I made the choice for godfather, I only had Austin and Eric, now there's Casey, Ethan, and Kenny, I couldn't choose between them now so you have to stay in my life, Kev,” Karly said.
“I know I know, I'm not going anywhere, if someone asks me to choose between being friends with you or being in a relationship with them, I would say goodbye because I can't give up being friends with you, Karly, you were my first everything and I'm glad we are best friends now, we put all that in the past and moved on with our lives,” Kevin said.
“Yep, I am glad you found the one, Kev, I have always wanted you to be happy,” Karly said.
“Thanks, K, goodnight,” Kevin said. He kissed her forehead and got up and went to the door.
“Night Kev,” Karly said. She went back to sleep after he left the room closing the door behind him. The next morning she woke up and checked her phone and saw a text from Luke.
“I miss you baby, I will get this done as fast as I can so you can come home to me and our boys, I love you so much, baby, remember, don't come back until I say it's safe, okay, I love you and I'll talk to you soon,” Luke texted. Karly got up and changed and went downstairs and found Kevin, Samantha, Dev, and Sara in the kitchen.
“Hey guys,” Karly said.
“Morning beautiful,” Kevin said.
“Morning Karly,” Dev said.
“Morning!” Samantha said.
“Morning Karly, breakfast should be ready soon and you guys can head out,” Sara said.
“Okay thanks,” Karly said. She sat down at the table and called her parents.
“Morning sweetheart,” Rick said.
“Morning Dad, boys still with you guys?” Karly asked.
“Yes they are, Luke told us he was back home but said to keep the boys and you both would pick them up together, he told us what's going on, I wanted to help but he said Casey was helping him and left Ethan and Kenny with Becca,” Rick said.
“Are they okay?” Karly asked.
“They are fine, sweetheart, they are taking a nap right now,” Rick said.
“Can you give them a kiss for me and tell them I love them,” Karly said.
“Of course, sweetheart, I do that anyways,” Rick said.
“Thank you for taking care of them, Dad, we really appreciate it, I wish it didn't have to be this long though, I don't know when I will be home, depends on how long this takes,” Karly said.
“It is not a problem, honey, we love spending time with them,” Rick said.
“Dad, I'm glad I found you, you really are an amazing father, I wish so badly that you were there when I was growing up,” Karly said.
“I know honey, so do I, I should have found a way to track down your mom,” Rick said.
“I should have figured it out sooner, when I was in high school or something,” Karly said.
“All that matters now is that we have found each other now, I am your father and I will always be here for you,” Rick said.
“I love you Dad,” Karly said.
“I love you sweetheart, bye,” Rick said.
“Bye Dad,” Karly said. She hung up and sent a text to her brothers.
“I'm okay sis, just being a father to my baby girl and working and being there for Eric,” Austin texted.
“I'm hanging in there, sis, I understand why you can't be here, stay safe, please stay there and listen to Luke,” Eric texted.
“Doing good, sis, miss you,” Ethan texted.
“Miss you sis, we just told Laura, Danielle, Anna, and Willow that they just have the same schedule as last month and tell us there is a change needed beforehand,” Kenny texted.
“I'm good sis, helping your hubby and keeping him safe, love you!” Casey texted.
“I love you guys,” Karly texted. She put her phone down and sat there staring at the table. Kevin came and sat down.
“What is it beautiful?” Kevin asked.
“I miss my boys, I miss my brothers, my sister, my parents, I miss home!” Karly said.
“I know, we all do,” Kevin said. Kevin hugged her as she cried on his shoulder.
“Is everything okay?” Samantha asked.
“Yeah, she's just missing everyone back home, she hates being away from Luke,” Kevin said.
“I have to go home,” Karly said.
“No, Karly, you can't, you know you can't, we have to wait for Luke to give the all clear,” Kevin said.
“I can't stand being away from them,” Karly said.
“I know, Karly, I know but you know why you can't go home, this guy is obsessed with you and willing to kill your husband to get you,” Kevin said.
“Oh god!” Karly said. She broke down sobbing and Kevin held her in his arms. Samantha, Dev, and Sara moved into the room and took turns rubbing her back in support.
“It will be okay, Karly, he will work as fast as he can so you can go home to him, I know he's probably missing you just as bad,” Dev said.
“Where are the boys?” Sara asked.
“With my dad and stepmom, he told my dad that we would pick them up together,” Karly said.
“Come on, Karly, let's eat breakfast and get going, last photoshoot and then we can send the models home and we can relax and rest until we can go home,” Kevin said.
“Kev, I'm glad you're with me, I don't know what I would do if you weren't in my life,” Karly said.
“I will always be here for you, K, we are best friends forever,” Kevin said.
“Best friends forever,” Karly said. Everyone sat down and ate. Karly got ready and they went to the shoot. Karly sat with Henry and watched the shoot. Her phone beeped and she saw a message from Luke.

CHAPTER 247

Karly sat there looking at her phone at the message from Luke.
“Hey baby, it's safe to come home now, I have the plane heading down to get you and I made arrangements for the models to fly first class since all of them won't be able to get on our plane, so the plane is for you, Kev, Henry, and Samantha, I have Charlie and his mother in the cells at Eric's so you and I will face off with them together, I love you baby and can't wait for you to be in my arms,” Luke texted.
“I love you too and I can't wait to be in your arms and hold our boys,” Karly texted.
“I am with the boys now, I couldn't stay away from them, but I won't take them home until you are home and we took care of the problem,” Luke texted.
“Okay I'll let Kevin know so he can tell Samantha,” Karly texted.
“I told Dev so he's telling her so she can be ready, they will meet you guys at the airport with your stuff,” Luke texted.
“Okay, I'll see you soon, I love you,” Karly texted.
“I love you too baby,” Luke texted. She smiled and looked up at Kevin who looked at her.
“What's up beautiful?” Kevin asked.
“Luke said we can go home, he's sending the plane down and the models are flying back in first class and you, me, Samantha, and Henry on the plane,” Karly said.
“Awesome!” Henry said.
“Matt, you and Dana are in charge of everyone else,” Karly said.
“Okay,” Matt said.
“Okay let's get to it everyone!” Karly said. They went to work on the last shoot. After it was over, they got everything packed up and they went to the hotel and got the models checked out and taken to the airport and Henry, Karly, and Kevin met Dev, Sara, and Samantha at the terminal where Luke's plane was.
“Hey Sam,” Kevin said. He hugged her close. Sara hugged Karly followed by Dev.
“All your stuff has been loaded,” Dev said.
“I should see about mine,” Henry said.
“Dev, this is Henry, the fashion designer who contracts with the agency and our reason for the photoshoots down here,” Karly said.
“Karly said she and Luke are part owners of your club,” Henry said.
“Yes, they are,” Dev said.
“I'm thinking of starting a new line of clothing for nightclubs, does your club have a certain uniform to wear?” Henry asked.
“I do require uniforms for my employees and I'm looking to change,” Dev said.
“I can come up with some designs and have Karly and Luke show them to you,” Henry said.
“That will be awesome,” Dev said.
“Thank you, Dev for looking out for us,” Karly said.
“Karly, you are Luke's wife, he's like a brother to me which makes you sister,” Dev said.
“Could always make room for another brother,” Karly said. They hugged. Dev hugged Samantha. Karly, Kevin, Samantha, and Henry got on the plane.
“Hi guys,” Nicole said.
“Hi Nicole, this is Samantha, she is Kevin's new girlfriend and is moving to New York,” Karly said.
“Hi Samantha, welcome,” Nicole said.
“Thanks,” Samantha said.
“Have a seat you guys, need anything before take-off?” Nicole asked.
“Not right now, thanks Nicole,” Karly said.
“I'm good,” Henry said.
“Me too,” Samantha said.
“Yep,” Kevin said.
“Okay, let me know if you do,” Nicole said. She went to sit down and the plane took off. Karly sent a text to Luke.
“On my way, babe, just took off,” Karly texted.
“I can't wait to see you, baby, I'll be waiting at the gate for you,” Luke texted. She smiled and sat back. Samantha sat next to Karly.
“You are really friendly with Nicole?” Samantha asked.
“It sure didn't start out that way,” Karly said.
“What do you mean?” Samantha asked.
“I first met her when Luke and I were going to Paris for our honeymoon, she got on the plane and Luke groaned when he saw her, she told him that she personally asked for that flight because he was on the plane, come to find out that she was a former fling of Luke's,” Karly said.
“Huh?” Samantha asked.
“Yeah, I said something snotty and she snapped at me, Luke took it as being disrespectful and fired her and threw her off the plane, after we got back, she stopped us in the airport and apologized for what she said and all that, awhile later she showed up at his office at the club asking for her job back because she had to take guardianship of her niece while her brother was overseas and she couldn't work for a normal airline while doing that so we hired her back,” Karly said.
“Wow,” Samantha said.
“Yeah she's now married to a pilot who works for the airline she had gone to work for after Luke fired her and they are working on a family,” Karly said.
“Luke have a lot of flings?” Samantha asked.
“Yep, Becca who is my twin brother, Casey's, girlfriend is one of them,” Karly said.
“Huh,” Samantha said.
“Yeah she came to Luke's office at the club wanting him back, I told her to back off, even held a gun on her, she then saw Casey at the door and it was like a flip of a switch, she fell for Casey and totally forgot about Luke, now she's living with us at the house with Casey, carrying Eric and Hayley's child for them,” Karly said.
“I have so much to get caught up on,” Samantha said.
“Let's talk,” Karly said. Karly filled her in on everything that's happened in their lives. Soon the plane was landing, Karly pushed past the guys and ran off the plane and saw Luke standing there waiting. She ran to him and jumped into his arms. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he grabbed her hips. She kissed him deeply.
“Welcome home baby,” Luke said.
“I'm so glad to be in your arms!” Karly said.
“I'm glad to have you in my arms, last night was brutal, I barely got any sleep, you weren't in my arms,” Luke said.
“Now you will get sleep,” Karly said.
“Yes, I will and then some,” Luke said.
“Oh really,” Karly said.
“Uh huh,” Luke said.
“Fine I missed it too,” Karly said.
“I know you did,” Luke said.
“Shall we pick up our boys?” Karly asked.
“Not yet, we have an issue to take care of, remember,” Luke said.
“Right,” Karly said.
“Hey Luke,” Kevin said.
“Hey Kev, thanks for keeping an eye on her,” Luke said.
“No problem,” Kevin said.
“Kev, first thing in the morning, work on the pics,” Karly said.
“Got it,” Kevin said.
“Oh Luke, how is Hayley?” Karly asked.
“They put her in a medically induced coma,” Luke said.
“We should go there,” Karly said.
“Baby, she's not going anywhere, let's go handle our problem first,” Luke said.
“Okay bye guys,” Karly said. They left the airport and went to the family home and walked in. Karly hugged Barbara.
“Hi Mom,” Karly said.
“Hi honey,” Barbara said.
“Taking care of the problem down there,” Peter said.
“Yep,” Luke said.
“Let's get it over with,” Karly said. Luke and Karly held hands and walked downstairs and stood in front of the cells looking at the two people sitting in them.

CHAPTER 248

They stood there in front of the cells looking at Charlie and his mother.
“Let us go please!” Mrs. Tucker said.
“Nope,” Luke said.
“Why should we?” Karly asked.
“Who are you?” Mrs. Tucker asked.
“His wife,” Karly said. She smiles up at Luke. He kissed her forehead.
“Mom I told you,” Charlie said.
“I thought we had a deal, Charlie,” Karly said.
“I'm sorry,” Charlie said.
“You wanted to kill my husband!” Karly said.
“Mom I told you I was okay, and you talked me into recanting,” Charlie said.
“I didn't want you in jail,” Mrs. Tucker said.
“So he was supposed to get away with possession of a gun with the intent to kill, he came into my husband's club and shot the gun and aimed it at the bartender, he confessed to us that he had every intention of killing my husband, all of this because he wanted me for himself and he couldn't accept the fact that I am married!” Karly said.
“Charlie, you said he tried to kill you,” Mrs. Tucker said.
“If my husband wanted him dead, Charlie wouldn't be alive right now, but things are changing,” Karly said.
“Mom, I told you to leave me be,” Charlie said.
“I couldn't do that but now I should have, she was married, Charlie, that should have been the end of it,” Mrs. Tucker said.
“I know Mom, I just wanted her so bad,” Charlie said.
“And you went home and got your father's gun and took it back to the club and fired shots intending on killing her husband,” Mrs. Tucker said.
“I told him it would not have worked because if he killed my husband, I would have killed him,” Karly said.
“Karly has killed a guy before,” Luke said.
“What did the guy do?” Mrs. Tucker asked.
“He beat and raped me in college, he grabbed me from behind and dragged me to an alley and attacked me, they found him and threw him in jail but he got off because his father paid off the judge to throw out the case, the guy showed up awhile back and I killed him, we have a friend who is a detective with the NYPD, he declared it justifiable homicide,” Karly said.
“Oh god,” Mrs. Tucker said.
“What are you going to do to us?” Charlie asked.
“What do you think babe?” Karly asked.
“He belongs in jail, but he can't be charged with the same crime,” Luke said.
“Well he tried to kill you last time, how about this time, he tried to kill me,” Karly said.
“Whatever keeps me alive, I'll do it,” Charlie said.
“Me too,” Mrs. Tucker said. Luke made the call and soon Detective Rames came downstairs.
“What's going on here?” Detective Rames asked.
“They tried to kill me,” Karly said.
“Charlie, Mrs. Tucker?” Detective Rames asked.
“It's true, she didn't want my son, so we plotted to kill her, we came here tonight to do it but got caught,” Mrs. Tucker said.
“We will do whatever sentence they give us, no recanting this time,” Charlie said.
“Okay then,” Detective Rames said. He arrested them and took them out of the house. Karly and Luke walked upstairs.
“That's that,” Peter said.
“Yep,” Luke said.
“I want to see Hayley,” Karly said.
“Okay baby,” Luke said. They went to the hospital. They went to Hayley's room and saw Eric sitting there reading a magazine.
“Bro,” Karly said.
“Hey sis,” Eric said. Eric got up and came over and hugged her close.
“How are you holding up?” Karly asked.
“I'm hanging in there, I can't do anything but sit here,” Eric said.
“Work?” Karly asked.
“I do it from here and Seth does it from the office,” Eric said.
“Kevin has a new girlfriend, her name's Samantha and she's from Miami, she's Dev's sister-in-law,” Karly said.
“That's great,” Eric said.
“She has a business degree like I do, I'm okay at the agency, I thought maybe she can work with you or Austin?” Karly asked.
“I could use an assistant that knows business so if Luke wants to stay with his sister, we can go talk to her because I want to get this done,” Eric said.
“Okay, you okay with that babe?” Karly asked.
“Yep,” Luke said. She kissed him and went out the door with Eric and they went to Kevin's apartment and knocked on the door. Kevin opened it and saw them.
“Hey beautiful, hey bro,” Kevin said.
“Hey Kev,” Eric said. They came in and Kevin closed the door. Amber and Samantha came out of the kitchen area.
“Hi Mom,” Karly said.
“Hi sweetie,” Amber said.
“Hi Mom,” Eric said.
“Hi honey, how are you holding up?” Amber asked.
“It's hard but I'm hanging in there,” Eric said.
“Samantha, this is my older brother, Eric Davis,” Karly said.
“Nice to meet you,” Samantha said.
“You too, Karly told me you have a business degree like her right?” Eric asked.
“Yes,” Samantha said.
“I would like to know if you would like to come work for me at my company as my assistant,” Eric said.
“An assistant?” Samantha asked.
“Yes, you would be covering for me if I'm out of the office, my COO is doing it right now but it's causing him to neglect his part of the work, you will only take orders from me but I'm not going to be that mean demanding boss, I will treat you like family which you are since you are with this guy who is like a brother to us,” Eric said.
“Wow, Sam, you didn't have to look soon for a job,” Kevin said.
“Nom I didn't, I will take it,” Samantha said.
“Awesome okay, be there tomorrow at eight and I will give you the rundown of what to do, Karly, can you ask Mom and Dad Stone to cover for me at the hospital in the morning?” Eric asked.
“Sure,” Karly said.
“Okay Samantha, it was nice meeting you and take care of this guy here,” Eric said.
“I will,” Samantha said.
“I need to get back to the hospital to be with my wife,” Eric said.
“Who has Lacey?” Kevin asked.
“Abby and Austin have her, she's been taking turns between them and Dad and Mom,” Eric said.
“Which Mom and Dad?” Karly asked.
“Lawson,” Eric said.
“So, they are your parents too?” Samantha asked.
“My dad and Angela pretty much adopted Austin and Eric since Casey’s my twin and have the same birth mother, they are connected to Ethan, Kenny, and Alyssa through me,” Karly said.
“I'll explain it all, Sam,” Kevin said.
“We should go so I can get Luke and go get my boys,” Karly said.
“Right bye guys,” Eric said. Eric and Karly went to the hospital and heard Luke yelling.
“DO SOMETHING!!!” Luke yelled. They ran to the door and saw the doctor and nurses gathered around the bed.
“NO!!!” Eric yelled.

CHAPTER 249

Karly stood at the door with Eric as the doctor and nurses worked in the room. A nurse pushed Luke out of the room and closed the door. Karly went into Luke's arms.
“What happened?” Karly asked.
“The machines started going crazy, they came running in,” Luke said.
“Oh god no!” Eric said. Karly went to Eric as Luke called the family. Eric broke down in Karly's arms. Soon Peter and Barbara came running. Casey, Becca, Ethan, and Kenny behind them. Austin came running in and took over for Karly as she went into Luke's arms as he broke down in her arms.
“Oh god my baby girl!” Barbara said. Karly saw her father coming in and went to him. He hugged her. Kevin and Samantha came up to them. Karly introduced her father to Samantha. She made introductions as they all waited for the doctor to come out.
“I can't lose her!” Eric said.
“They are working on her, they will do everything they can,” Austin said.
“I should have been here!” Eric said.
“Bro, you didn't know this would happen, okay, stop blaming yourself,” Austin said. The door opened and the nurses came out and the doctor came out and looked at them.
“Doc?” Eric asked.
“She's alive, but still in a coma, we are going to do a form of radiation on her while she's in the coma, Eric, I can't promise it will work but it's something different than what we have been doing,” the doctor said.
“Do whatever you need to do for her, just don't let her leave us, I can't live without her,” Eric said.
“I will do everything possible for her,” the doctor said.
“KARLY!” Luke yelled. They all saw her in Luke's arms, out cold. The doctor came over to her and checked her.
“Let's get her to a room and I'll call Dr. Reagan,” the doctor said. Luke carried her to a room. Rick and Casey came with them. Luke stroked her forehead.
“What happened to her?” Casey asked.
“That's what I'm here to find out, hey boys, let me check her and find out why she passed out,” Dr. Reagan said. Casey and Rick stood back but Luke didn't move. He stood there stroking her head.
“Doc, do you think she could be pregnant?” Luke asked.
“It could be that, let me run some tests and find out,” Dr. Reagan said. She ran the tests and left the room. Luke sat down.
“You okay son?” Rick asked.
“I'm worried, Dad, about my wife and my sister, we almost lost her, we still could and I want to be there for her but I need to be here with my wife, I can't leave her side,” Luke said.
“Hayley would understand why you aren't with her, she knows Karly is your first priority and the boys,” Rick said.
“Oh god the boys, Karly has been wanting to get back to them so bad,” Luke said.
“They are fine with me and Mom, Karly needs you,” Rick said. Dr. Reagan came back and looked at them.
“I'm going to admit Karly to the hospital,” Dr. Reagan said.
“What why?” Luke asked.
“We aren't sure yet but she's not pregnant, but we need to do more testing to find out what's wrong,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Okay, just please find out what is going on,” Luke said.
“Doc, could she have cancer?” Rick asked.
“We don't know yet, like I said, we need to do more testing,” Dr. Reagan said. Luke rested his forehead against Karly's. Rick put a hand on Luke's shoulder.
“I'll go tell everyone,” Rick said. Luke noticed something and looked at Dr. Reagan.
“Doc, she's not breathing!” Luke said. Dr. Reagan called for nurses and Luke and Rick backed up as Dr. Reagan checked her for a heartbeat and begins CPR. Casey stood beside them as they all watched the doctor work. The nurses came in and began helping her.
“Please god no, don't take her from me!” Luke said. Rick and Casey hugged him as they all prayed.

CHAPTER 250

Casey sent a quick text to Austin as they stood there watching them work on Karly. Casey felt tears in his eyes. He saw Luke had sank to the floor with tears running down his cheeks. The door quietly opened, and Austin and Eric came in. Casey quietly told them what happened. Eric moves to Luke and sat beside him.
“Dr. Reagan please!” Rick said.
“I got her!” Dr. Reagan said. Luke stood up as they finished up. They took some samples for more tests and the nurses ran out the door with them. Dr. Reagan came over to them.
“Doc?” Austin asked.
“Dr. Reagan please?” Luke asked.
“Early prognosis is an allergic reaction to something and I will know more when I run the tests, right now she's in a coma and I will get her moved to a room and I'll meet you there with the results,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Thank you, doc,” Rick said.
“I will get things going as soon as I walk out the door,” Dr. Reagan said. She went out the door. Luke broke down crying. Austin and Casey hugged him. Soon they were moving her to a room. Kevin and Samantha came down the hall and Austin told them what happened.
“Kev,” Luke said.
“Yeah,” Kevin said.
“You are in charge at the agency, have Matt and Dana do the paperwork so you can get to work on developing the photos from the shoot for Henry,” Luke said.
“Okay I'll let Jack know that I will be unable to work at the firm,” Kevin said.
“Luke, you are giving orders for the agency, I thought that was Karly's?” Samantha asked.
“Being married to Karly makes Luke part owner so technically he is the boss too,” Kevin said.
“Oh okay,” Samantha said.
“Even though this has happened, I still would like to continue with you coming to the company tomorrow,” Eric said.
“I'll be there but who will be here with your wife and sister?” Samantha asked.
“I'll be here with my wife,” Luke said.
“And Barbara and Peter will be with Hayley,” Eric said.
“Dad, Abby and I can take the boys if you guys want a break for a night,” Austin said.
“Actually, Casey, can you and Becca take the boys home,” Luke said.
“Luke, I thought you and Karly wanted to pick them up together?” Rick asked.
“That was the plan but as you can see, things change, they would probably be better home in their own beds,” Luke said.
“Luke, Abby and I can take them, they can spend some time with their cousins,” Austin said.
“That might be a good idea, a little cousin bonding time wouldn't hurt,” Rick said.
“Okay Austin, they can go home with you, I'm sure Lacey and Aubrey would like to see the boys,” Luke said.
“Okay but I'm not going anywhere until we find out what is wrong here and why my sister almost died,” Austin said.
“Luke,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Doc what did you find out?” Luke asked.
“Her birth control pills, apparently she developed a severe allergic reaction to them,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Okay I will throw them away when I get home,” Luke said.
“Is our sister going to be okay?” Eric asked.
“Yes, I will get her started on some medicine that will help her,” Dr. Reagan said. She gave Karly a dose of medicine and left the room. Luke sat there holding her hand.
“Okay so I will go pick up the boys, Dad, let Mom and sis know I'm coming to pick them up,” Austin said.
“I'll go with you,” Rick said. Austin hugged Karly and kissed her forehead.
“Love you sis,” Austin said. Rick kisses her cheek and stroked her forehead.
“Love you sweetheart,” Rick said. They left. Luke sat there watching his wife. Eric and Casey stood with him.
“I'm going back to be with Hayley, keep me updated?” Eric asked.
“Yeah, give my sis a kiss for me,” Luke said.
“I will,” Eric said. He left the room. Casey put a hand on Luke's shoulder.
“I better get Becca home to rest, I'm sure she's tired, she has been lately,” Casey said.
“Okay I'll call if there's a change,” Luke said. Casey nodded and kissed Karly's forehead.
“Love you sis,” Casey said. He left and Luke sat there holding her hand and watched her.
“I'm here baby and I'm not going anywhere, come back to me and our boys, we need you,” Luke said.
“Honey,” Barbara said.
“Mom,” Luke said. Barbara hugged her son. Luke cried in her arms.
“Oh honey,” Barbara said.
“I almost lost her, Mom,” Luke said.
“She's still with us honey,” Barbara said.
“I can't live without her, she's my life, her and the boys,” Luke said.
“Where are the boys?” Peter asked.
“Austin is picking them up from her dad and taking them to his place so they can be with Lacey and Aubrey,” Luke said.
“All four grandkids under one roof,” Barbara said.
“We should go see them,” Peter said.
“Keep us updated honey,” Barbara said. She hugged him and they left. Luke kissed Karly's hand. He watched her.
Three days later, he went to get something to eat and Austin was with her. She opened her eyes and looked around and saw Austin.
“Austin?” Karly asked.
“Oh, thank god!” Austin said.
“What happened?” Karly asked.
“You had a severe allergic reaction to your birth control pills,” Austin said. Luke had walked to the door and heard her talking.
“Oh god,” Karly said.
“So glad you are awake, you have been in a coma for three days, we almost lost you, Luke hadn't left your side until today,” Austin said.
“Luke? Who is he?” Karly asked.
“Karly?” Austin asked.
“Who's Luke?” Karly asked. Luke felt his heart shatter into a million pieces as he leaned against the wall.

CHAPTER 251

Luke stood there outside the room and went to the nurses’ station and told them that Karly woke up. He sent a text to everyone. He went to see Hayley. Eric came out of the room and saw him.
“Why are you here and not with your wife?” Eric asked.
“She doesn't know who I am,” Luke said.
“What,” Eric said.
“I went to get something to eat and came back and heard her talking and Austin told her that I never left her side and she asked him who I was,” Luke said.
“Oh god but she knows Austin,” Eric said.
“Yeah,” Luke said.
“I'll go find out what she knows, stay with your sister,” Eric said.
“I was going to,” Luke said. Eric hugged him and went down the hall. Luke sat by Hayley's bedside.
“Hey sis, I wish you were awake,” Luke said.
“Who said I wasn't,” Hayley said.
“Sis?” Luke asked.
“Hey bro,” Hayley said.
“Eric didn't tell me you were awake,” Luke said.
“I asked him to keep quiet for now,” Hayley said.
“He tell you about Karly?” Luke asked.
“Yeah and I heard you guys talk at the door about her not knowing you,” Hayley said.
“I didn't bother going in, I was letting her brothers be with her because she knows them,” Luke said.
“I wonder how far back she remembers, if she doesn't know you, she doesn't know Rick, Angela, Ethan, Kenny, Alyssa, and Casey,” Hayley said.
“What if she remembers being with Kevin and thinks he's still her boyfriend,” Luke said.
“Eric said he's got a girlfriend now,” Hayley said.
“Yeah,” Luke said.
“Samantha, right?” Hayley asked.
“Yeah, she's Dev's sister-in-law,” Luke said.
“Hey guys,” Eric said.
“Thanks for telling me she was awake,” Luke said.
“Sorry man,” Eric said.
“What did you find out?” Hayley asked.
“She knows me and Austin, she doesn't know Casey, Rick, Angela, Ethan, Kenny, Alyssa,” Eric said.
“What else?” Hayley asked.
“She thinks Kevin is still her boyfriend, she said she is missing college classes,” Eric said.
“Is he here?” Luke asked.
“Yeah he's with her, Austin is with them,” Eric said.
“I hate this,” Luke said.
“I know man and the doctor doesn't want her getting upset,” Eric said.
“So, I can't go near her,” Luke said.
“You could go introduce yourself,” Eric said.
“I don't know if I can be near her without wanting to take her in my arms,” Luke said.
“Be strong, Luke, just take it slow,” Eric said. Luke nodded and walked down to her room and saw Samantha standing outside.
“Hey,” Luke said.
“She wants him to kiss her, but he is keeping that from happening,” Samantha said.
“I don't understand why you won't kiss me,” Karly said.
“Karly, I told you that I had the flu and it's not good for you to get sick now after what you've been through,” Kevin said.
“Fine,” Karly said. Luke knocked on the door. They saw him.
“Hey man,” Kevin said.
“How's it going,” Luke said.
“Karly, this is Luke,” Kevin said.
“Luke, as in the guy who stayed with me while I was unconscious,” Karly said.
“Yes,” Luke said.
“Why would you do that?” Karly asked.
“It's a long story,” Luke said.
“Karly, I asked him to, I had to work and couldn't be here, so I asked Luke to stay with you because I trust him and he's a good friend,” Kevin said.
“Who is that at the door?” Karly asked.
“I'm Samantha, I'm a friend of yours and I work with Eric,” Samantha said.
“Oh okay,” Karly said.
“Hello Karly,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Hi,” Karly said.
“Your brothers tell you why you are here,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Yeah,” Karly said.
“Now onto the other issue,” Dr. Reagan said.
“What's that,” Karly said.
“You have amnesia,” Dr. Reagan said.
“What, so that's why I don't know where these rings came from,” Karly said.
“Karly you are married,” Dr. Reagan said.
“To whom?” Karly asked. Luke held up his hand and she saw the ring on his finger, and she looked at him and looked at Kevin.
“Yes Karly, Luke is your husband,” Kevin said.
“So, Samantha is?” Karly asked.
“My girlfriend, you and I broke up after college and stayed friends, we both moved on,” Kevin said.
“Oh,” Karly said.
“Karly what is it?” Kevin asked.
“I'm sorry I can't do this,” Karly said.
“What Karly,” Kevin said.
“I know you said that we both moved on but, in my head, I haven't, I can't do this,” Karly said.
“Oh,” Kevin said.
“I can see you have moved on but it's not like that with me right now,” Karly said.
“Luke,” Kevin said. Luke looked at him and nodded. He looked at Karly.
“I should go,” Luke said. Kevin and Samantha hugged him, and Luke went out the door. He left the hospital and went to the club and went to the office and locked it and sat on the couch and held his head in his hands and broke down.

CHAPTER 252

Luke laid there on the couch staring at the ceiling. He sat up and wiped his face and got up and went out the door and went to Austin's. He knocked on the door. Austin opened the door and saw him.
“Hey man,” Austin said.
“Hey,” Luke said.
“Kevin texted me and told me, Eric and I will talk with her,” Austin said.
“I just want to be with my boys,” Luke said.
“I’ll help you get them ready,” Austin said. They went up to the nursery and got the boys ready. Luke got their stuff loaded up.
“Thanks for taking care of them,” Luke said.
“It's not a problem, if you need anything, let us know, Karly may not remember you, but we all do, we are family,” Austin said. Luke nodded and they hugged. Luke got the boys in the car and went home. Casey came out and helped get the boys in the house and settled in. Luke sat there with Kingston in his arms. He held his son close to him. Casey held Jackson close.
“What are you going to do, man,” Casey said.
“Do what I need to do, be here for my boys,” Luke said.
“Did anyone tell her about them?” Casey asked.
“No,” Luke said.
“We should tell Austin and Eric to talk to her,” Casey said.
“They are going to talk with her tomorrow,” Luke said.
“I hate this, my twin not knowing me,” Casey said.
“Me too and she's my wife,” Luke said.
“Luke,” Ethan said.
“Luke,” Kenny said.
“Hey guys,” Luke said.
“We are here for you and the boys,” Kenny said.
“Yeah,” Ethan said.
“Thanks guys,” Luke said. The front door opened and closed, and Kevin and Samantha came in.
“The sooner she gets her memory back, the better,” Kevin said.
“That bad,” Ethan said.
“She insulted me,” Samantha said.
“What,” Luke said.
“Told her that I belonged with her and not Sam and that it was only a matter of time before I come back to her,” Kevin said.
“Does she know she's married?” Ethan asked.
“Yep but in her head right now, I'm her boyfriend and in college still,” Kevin said.
“Samantha just be there for Kevin,” Luke said.
“I told Karly that we were over, and we are not getting back together ever, that I moved on, I told her to get to know her husband,” Kevin said.
“Did you tell her about her kids?” Casey asked.
“No, I thought she should hear that from Luke or her brothers,” Kevin said.
“Is she alone?” Luke asked.
“Eric's with her, your mom is with Hayley,” Kevin said. Luke sent a text to Eric and looked at them. He took the boys and put them to bed and stood there watching them fall asleep and he took a picture and sent it to Eric to show Karly.
Meanwhile at the hospital....
“Karly, you are married, you may not know Luke, but he is your husband,” Eric said.
“I can't be married to someone I don't know,” Karly said.
“But you are, okay, and you and Kevin aren't getting back together, he can't be with a married woman and I know Luke will never give you a divorce,” Eric said.
“Oh god!” Karly said.
“Look something else, you have two sons with Luke, twin boys named Kingston Richard Stone and Jackson Lucas Stone,” Eric said.
“I'm a mother?” Karly asked.
“Yes, and I have a picture that Luke sent me just now,” Eric said. He showed her the picture of the boys asleep together.
“They are mine?” Karly asked.
“Yes, you and Luke are their mom and dad, you gave birth to them,” Eric said.
“Oh god,” Karly said.
“Karly, Kevin is their godfather and my wife is their godmother, you couldn't decide between me and Austin, so you chose Kevin,” Eric said.
“And Kevin is my best friend now?” Karly asked.
“Only if you give up wanting him back and let him be happy with Samantha, she is good for him,” Eric said.
“All right, so I should try to get to know my husband?” Karly asked.
“Yes,” Eric said.
“Get him here,” Karly said. He made the call and hung up. He smiled.
“He's on the way,” Eric said.
“Who is watching the boys?” Karly asked.
“Very capable babysitters,” Eric said.
“Who?” Karly asked.
“Well they are our brothers,” Eric said.
“What,” Karly said.
“Okay my dad isn't your dad, Mom was separated from him and met a guy named Rick Lawson, they got close and slept together and then my dad wanted her back so she went back to him and ended things with Rick and she found out she was pregnant and you were born and come to find out that you have a twin brother but none of us knew until a few months back,” Eric said.
“I have a twin?” Karly asked.
“Yes, his name is Casey, he was raised by Mom's sister,” Eric said.
“Oh, is he coming?” Karly asked.
“I'm sure he's staying with Rick's sons, Ethan and Kenny to help with the boys,” Eric said.
“So, all three are my brothers?” Karly asked.
“You have five brothers and one sister, her name is Alyssa, your real dad is married to their mother, Angela, who took me, Austin, and Casey as her sons,” Eric said.
“Oh,” Karly said.
“Hey,” Luke said.
“Hey bro,” Eric said.
“Hi,” Karly said.
“Everything okay?” Luke asked.
“Eric was filling me in on some stuff,” Karly said.
“I brought someone with me,” Luke said.
“Hey I'm Casey,” Casey said.
“My twin?” Karly asked.
“I was telling her about the family stuff,” Eric said.
“Okay good,” Casey said.
“Luke?” Karly asked.
“Yes?” Luke said.
“How did we meet?” Karly asked.
“My sister is Eric's wife, Hayley, she works at the agency with you,” Luke said.
“Okay so we met and got together and got engaged and got married and had twins,” Karly said.
“There is a little more to it than that,” Luke said.
“What is it?” Karly asked. Eric told her about the will and what they had to do, and Luke told her how they fell in love and wanted to start a family right away.
“Ugh, I get it now, I hate this, you guys have all these memories and I am clueless about some of it, I want to be back to normal,” Karly said.
“Give it time, sis, it could all come back to you,” Eric said.
“And we will be there waiting,” Luke said.
“Yep,” Casey said.
“Okay thanks guys,” Karly said.
“We all love you sis,” Eric said.
“Luke can you stay?” Karly asked.
“Of course,” Luke said.
“I'll go home and help Ethan and Kenny with the boys,” Casey said. Eric and Casey hugged her and they left. Luke sat down by the bedside. She looked at him and reached out her hand and he took it and held it.

CHAPTER 253

Karly laid there looking at Luke and held his hand.
“I'm sorry for all this, I know I probably hurt you about my behavior and all that,” Karly said.
“Hey it's okay, you couldn't help it, it's not your fault that you have memory loss, it's not your fault that you had an allergic reaction, you didn't know it would happen,” Luke said.
“Now that I have heard about how we met and got married and have kids, I know there has to be so much love for all that to have happened,” Karly said.
“Karly, you are my life, you and the boys are everything to me,” Luke said.
“Oh Luke, please be patient with me,” Karly said.
“I will, Karly,” Luke said.
“What do you call me all the time, I know it's not my name, do you call me honey, sweetie, sweetheart?” Karly asked.
“No, your dad Rick calls you sweetheart, I call you baby,” Luke said.
“What do I call you?” Karly asked.
“Babe,” Luke said.
“That's it?” Karly asked.
“Yep unless you are mad at me about something, you call me by my full name,” Luke said.
“What is your full name?” Karly asked.
“Luke Stone,” Luke said.
“No middle name?” Karly asked.
“Peter,” Luke said.
“Luke Peter Stone,” Karly said.
“Yep,” Luke said.
“Did I change my last name?” Karly asked.
“When we got married,” Luke said.
“I meant my maiden name,” Karly said.
“No, it's still Davis,” Luke said.
“What is my dad's last name?” Karly asked.
“Lawson,” Luke said.
“I want it changed to that,” Karly said.
“So, you want to be Karly Ann Lawson Stone?” Luke asked.
“Yes, I want to get rid of Davis,” Karly said.
“That would upset Eric and Austin,” Luke said.
“Crap you're right,” Karly said.
“I'll be okay with it,” Eric said.
“Really?” Karly asked.
“He was never a father to you, Rick would have been if Mom told him about you,” Eric said.
“And Austin?” Karly asked.
“Austin would understand,” Austin said.
“We love you sis,” Eric said.
“It is your choice and you will forever be our sister,” Austin said. They hugged her. She smiled and hugged them back.
“Can you call Kevin and have him and Samantha come here, I need to apologize about everything,” Karly said. Eric made the call. Karly grabbed Luke's hand and held it.
“Call my dad too,” Karly said.
“Okay,” Luke said. He went to make the call. Karly looked at Austin.
“Guys, I want to see pics of my nieces,” Karly said. Austin and Eric showed her pics of their daughters.
“Oh, my goodness,” Karly said.
“I know right,” Austin said.
“Kevin is on his way with Samantha,” Eric said.
“As is your dad,” Luke said.
“Okay,” Karly said.
“Sis, I know he will be happy,” Austin said.
“You guys aren't mad or upset?” Karly asked.
“No sis we aren't, bro, maybe we should change ours too,” Eric said.
“But then Abby and Hayley would have to change theirs and the babies too,” Austin said.
“We can get it done,” Eric said.
“Jack can do it,” Luke said.
“I'll give him a call,” Eric said.
“We have to ask Dad first,” Austin said.
“Ask me what?” Rick asked.
“Are you my dad?” Karly asked.
“Yes, I am sweetheart,” Rick said.
“Dad,” Karly said. Rick came to the bed and she reached out and he hugged her. She cried as she held onto him.
“Dad, we all have a question for you,” Eric said.
“Okay what is it,” Rick said.
“I want to change my maiden name to Lawson,” Karly said.
“I'm okay with that,” Rick said.
“We want to change ours too,” Austin said.
“So, you guys want to change from Davis to Lawson?” Rick asked.
“Yes,” Eric said.
“We don't want the same last name of the worst father ever,” Austin said.
“You are a better father,” Eric said.
“I would be very proud for you all to have my last name, you both are my sons,” Rick said.
“Thanks Dad,” Austin said.
“Thanks Dad,” Eric said.
“We should go tell our wives,” Austin said.
“Yep,” Eric said. They left. Kevin and Samantha came in.
“You wanted to see us,” Kevin said.
“Yeah, I'm sorry about everything I said to both of you, it was wrong of me, you have to understand, I'm missing years here and you guys aren't and it's not fair, I'm stuck back in my college years and I'm so lost,” Karly said.
“Karly, it's okay, we understand, you will always be my best friend and that's all we can be,” Kevin said.
“I know, I should try to get to know my husband again and be a mother to my sons,” Karly said.
“Karly, I would really like to be friends,” Samantha said.
“Same here and I'm sorry for what I said to you,” Karly said.
“I forgive you, just focus on getting better and working on your memory, you never know it could come back,” Samantha said.
“I hope so, I hate this,” Karly said.
“We all will be here for you,” Luke said.
“You better not leave my side, hubby,” Karly said.
“Wouldn't dream of it,” Luke said.
“Good,” Karly said. Rick, Kevin, and Samantha left, and Luke got her discharged and they headed home.
“Who all lives with us?” Karly asked.
“Well besides you and me and our boys, your brothers Ethan and Kenny, and Casey and his girlfriend Becca,” Luke said.
“Becca?” Karly asked.
“Well truth is she is a former fling of mine from before I met you, she met Casey and it was love at first sight for both of them,” Luke said.
“So, she could try to get you back,” Karly said.
“Nope she tried but she saw Casey and it was like a switch went off and I was forgotten, and he was the only man in her eyes,” Luke said.
“Wow,” Karly said.
“She is also carrying Eric and Hayley's second child,” Luke said.
“She's their surrogate,” Karly said.
“Yes,” Luke said.
“Okay let's go home to our boys and my brothers and your former fling,” Karly said. Luke took her hand as they headed to the house.

CHAPTER 254

Karly and Luke walked into the house and saw Ethan and Kenny in the living room with Kingston and Jackson.
“Hey guys,” Luke said.
“There's Mommy,” Ethan said. Luke helped Karly sit down and she took Kingston in her arms and just gazed at him. She hugged him close to her and started to cry.
“I hate this, not knowing my sons,” Karly said.
“Your memory will come back,” Kenny said.
“Yeah,” Ethan said.
“I need to go lay down, I want the boys to lay with me and you too Luke, maybe something will happen with my memory,” Karly said. Luke nodded and took Jackson and they went upstairs and Luke led her to the bedroom and they laid on the bed with the boys between them. Karly laid there watching the boys.
“Karly?” Luke asked.
“They are so precious, they are a part of me, and I can't remember giving birth to them or experiencing the pregnancy,” Karly said.
“You were on bed rest for the majority of it due to a couple of scares,” Luke said.
“I want to remember so badly!” Karly said.
“You will, just give it time, who knows, you could go to sleep and wake up with your memory, you never know, just have to be patient,” Luke said.
“Okay, I just hate this,” Karly said.
“I know you do,” Luke said.
“I wish I could remember loving you,” Karly said.
“You will in time, or you could fall all over again,” Luke said. She nodded and they went to sleep. Luke woke up and saw Karly still asleep and the boys waking up. He picked them both up and carried them downstairs and saw Kenny and Casey in the living room. They saw him and took the boys.
“How is she?” Casey asked.
“Upset she can't remember anything,” Luke said.
“Maybe some rest will do the trick,” Kenny said.
“I hope so, but we all need to be patient with her, keep an eye on her, I'm going to check on things at the agency and do the payroll there and the club,” Luke said.
“We will call if we need you,” Kenny said. Luke left and went to the agency and found Kevin in the office with Henry going over the shots from the photoshoot.
“Hey guys,” Luke said.
“Hey man,” Kevin said.
“Hey how's Karly?” Henry asked.
“Angry and frustrated that she can't remember what she has missed, she cried when she saw the boys,” Luke said.
“I can take care of things here,” Kevin said.
“We might be changing the name of the agency, Karly wants her maiden name to be changed to Lawson and Austin and Eric want to change their name to Lawson too which means Hayley and Abby will have to change theirs and the babies too,” Luke said.
“I heard about that when I called Jack this morning,” Kevin said.
“So, they want to get rid of the Davis name altogether,” Henry said.
“Yeah, the guy wasn't a father to Karly,” Luke said.
“He sent her to Harvard to get her away from the house and out of his life,” Kevin said.
“But I am glad things turned out the way they did, I never would have met her, gotten married and had the boys,” Luke said. Luke did the payroll and left and went to the club and did payroll and paperwork and then went home and walked into the house and heard Karly crying. He ran upstairs and found her crying on Casey's shoulder.
“What's going on?” Luke asked.
“Where are you!” Karly said.
“I had to go do paperwork and the payroll for my clubs and the modeling agency,” Luke said.
“You said you wouldn't leave me alone!” Karly said.
“You weren't exactly alone, your brothers were here and the boys, I'm sorry I left but I had to get work done, I'm the only one who can do the payroll for the clubs and I checked on the agency and did the payroll there as well until you get back,” Luke said.
“The agency?” Karly asked.
“Your mom's modeling agency, she left it to you,” Luke said.
“Oh, so I am the boss?” Karly asked.
“Well yeah, you own the agency with me since I'm your husband, you made Kevin your partner since he's the staff photographer,” Luke said.
“So, it's just me and Kevin in charge at the agency?” Karly asked.
“Matt and Dana who were the top models are now assistants to you both and they are husband and wife as well,” Luke said.
“I got a text from Austin and Eric, they got their names changed as well as their wives, so they are Austin Lawson and Eric Lawson now,” Casey said.
“Does Dad know?” Luke asked.
“Yeah he's happy,” Casey said.
“I better call Jack about changing your maiden name,” Luke said.
“Please,” Karly said. Luke made the call as Karly laid against the pillows and sighed.
“What's up sis?” Casey asked.
“I just wish I had my memory back, so I won't feel so lost,” Karly said.
“It will come back sis,” Casey said.
“I hope so,” Karly said.
“Okay it's done, you are Karly Ann Lawson Stone,” Luke said.
“I'll tell Dad,” Casey said.
Three months later....
Karly sat in the living room at the house. She still hadn't regained her full memory. But the good news was that she fell in love with her husband all over again. Luke was at the club working on paperwork. Casey took Becca to her last doctor's appointment as she was one month from the due date. Ethan and Kenny were at school. Austin and Abby had taken the boys to the park with Aubrey. Her phone beeped and she saw that Austin sent her a pic of the boys and she smiled. She got up and went into the kitchen and decided to get stuff out to cook dinner. She knew they had a cook but it was her day off. She opened a cabinet and reached for a can of soup and it fell off the shelf and hit her in the head. She leaned on the counter and held her head.

CHAPTER 255

BEEP BEEP BEEP
Karly opened her eyes and saw she was in a hospital room and she looked around and saw Luke asleep in a chair by her bedside. She saw Austin and Eric walk in.
“Karly!” Austin said.
“Sis!” Eric said.
“You're awake!” Luke said.
“What happened?” Karly asked.
“I found you unconscious in the kitchen, you got hit in the head by a big can of soup and it knocked you out, I couldn't wake you so I brought you here, the doctor said it hit so hard that it caused a concussion,” Luke said.
“How long was I out?” Karly asked.
“Two days,” Luke said.
“Oh god,” Karly said.
“Sis, we are just glad you are okay,” Eric said.
“The boys?” Karly asked.
“With Abby,” Austin said.
“The last thing I remember is being here at the hospital with you guys waiting for word on Hayley and I felt lightheaded and everything went black,” Karly said. Luke, Austin, and Eric all looked at each other. She looked at them.
“Sis?” Austin asked.
“What was the last thing you did before coming to the hospital?” Eric asked.
“We went to Kevin's apartment to meet with Samantha to offer her a job with you, why?” Karly asked.
“Oh baby!” Luke said. He hugged her. Austin and Eric joined the hug.
“Guys what's going on?” Karly asked.
“You passed out when you got back, they said it was a severe allergic reaction to your birth control pills, you actually stopped breathing, they got you back but you were in a coma as you woke up and you didn't know who I was, you remembered being in college and dating Kevin but you didn't know me or your dad or Casey, Ethan, Kenny, Angela, Alyssa, and the boys,” Luke said.
“Oh god,” Karly said.
“It's been three months,” Luke said.
“So, I'm missing three months compared to like nine years?!” Karly said.
“Not much has changed in three months except our last name,” Eric said.
“What?” Karly asked.
“The three of us got rid of Davis, I'm Austin Lawson, he's Eric Lawson, and you are Karly Ann Lawson Stone, Abby and Hayley changed theirs and we changed Aubrey and Lacey's too,” Austin said.
“And I couldn't be prouder,” Rick said.
“Dad!” Karly said.
“Oh sweetheart!” Rick said. He came and hugged her. She cried as she held onto him.
“I love you Dad!” Karly said.
“I love you too sweetheart,” Rick said.
“Wait, how's Hayley?” Karly asked.
“She has been doing radiation treatment and it is working, the tumor has shrunk, and she's got one more tomorrow and then they will evaluate the progress,” Eric said.
“That's great,” Karly said.
“She has a good chance of beating it again,” Eric said.
“I hope so,” Karly said.
“Baby, how would you feel about changing the name of the agency?” Luke asked.
“I say yes,” Karly said.
“Change it to what?” Eric asked.
“Stone Modeling Agency,” Karly said.
“Really?” Luke asked.
“It's my name now isn't it,” Karly said.
“Yes, it is,” Luke said.
“I'll call Jack to make the necessary changes,” Austin said.
“How's Samantha doing at the company?” Karly asked.
“Amazing, she knows what she's doing, she caught on quick,” Eric said.
“Pissing Kevin off though,” Austin said.
“Why?” Karly asked.
“Overloading her with so much work that she's home late every night,” Austin said.
“Hey, I'll be back to work as soon as my wife gets the all clear from the doctor, I promised her that I would be there every step of the way through this,” Eric said.
“Austin leave him alone please, Hayley needs him by her side, she was fighting for her life you know,” Karly said.
“I know, sorry bro,” Austin said.
“Knock Knock,” Kevin said.
“Kev!” Karly said.
“Hey beautiful, glad to see you awake and well,” Kevin said.
“I heard you aren't happy that Sam is working overtime,” Karly said.
“She's back to normal, man, minus not knowing what happened the last three months,” Luke said.
“That's great!” Kevin said.
“Hopefully, I'll be back to work soon,” Eric said.
“It's fine man, I've been working late too,” Kevin said.
“I need to get out of here and back to work,” Karly said.
“K, it's not with the agency, I've been helping Jack with some cases,” Kevin said.
“You aren't going back to work until you get the all clear from the doctor,” Luke said.
“Ugh!” Karly said.
“It'll be okay sis, quality time with your boys,” Austin said.
“All right, I can do that, spend time with all three,” Karly said.
“You think I'd let you out of my sight,” Luke said.
“You better not, but you still have to do payroll at the clubs and the agency,” Karly said.
“I'll do it from the office at the house, I will have Drew and Sam bring me the paperwork and timesheets from both,” Luke said.
“I'll drop off the timesheets from the agency when I head home,” Kevin said.
“Cool thanks,” Luke said.
“Hey everyone,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Hey doc when can I go home?” Karly asked.
“In the morning, now that you are awake, we can do more tests,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Doc please, I really want to go home to my boys, I will go straight to bed and not move from it for a few days like I was on bed rest, I just want to go home to my boys, I miss them so much,” Karly said.
“All right, let me run these tests and I'll release you and you go home and cuddle with your boys in bed and not move for a week, I don't want you relapsing okay,” Dr. Reagan said.
“Okay,” Karly said. They took her to get tests and brought her back. She gave her the discharge papers and they went home.
